What would Hiero expect when a man with two children comes after him? He thought it would be an easy task since two of his opponents were kids. The magician, however, realizes something is off.
"Those two kids. I sense their power is very refined."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm certain. They're not ordinary children."
"Hmph. They can be a good asset for us if we can nurture them properly." Bazba, the Second-in-Command of Hiero Bandit, looks at them as he holds his axe.
"They're just brats, anyway. Furthermore, they were—That emblem…"
"What are you looking at, Bazba?"
"A staff and a book emblem. You're from Lexington Family, do you?"
"I'm flattered that even an outlaw knew our name."
"They're bad news, boss. They're monsters on their field. Marquess Hereford is one of them."
It looks like they knew about Sera Lexington, who had just recently risen as a General, and promotion as Marquess with the assignment to defend the western border leading to the Kingdom of Tauntburn.
"Now, now. Don't call us as a monster here."
"Heheh… Then it's an honor to kill a member of the Lexington Family! I'm starting with you!"
Bazba hastily charges to Klendiana, and she quickly repels him with Ice Shield forming from her staff.
"You're wide open! [Fireball!!]"
As Klendiana holds Bazba's attack with her staff imbued with ice, she looks at the magician firing the fireball from her staff, aiming at her. She cast a fireball without chanting with her hand, and it clashes, forming an explosion. The explosion is enough to shake the cave, but both Klendiana and Reynes pour their magic to reinforce the earth's foundation, so there is no cave-in situation.
"A chantless magic? That's impossible! A brat like you!"
"Hmph!"
Kurt joins in by attacking Bazba, forcing him to withdraw temporarily.
"Klendiana. You handle her."
"Yes, father."
"I will deal with Bazba. Reynes, this would be your first duel with him."
"Yes, father."
Without waste, Reynes advances as fast as lighting to him, striking him down with his sword. Hiero manages to parry it in time, or otherwise, he would be sent to the afterlife.
"You!"
Reynes and Klendiana didn't miss a single day of training. Even before they were deployed here in the afternoon, they had already completed the training session in the morning. Frabela wishes to join their training program, and she will consult with her father once today's subjugation is finished.
"Tch! [Earth Spike!!]"
"[Body Manipulation!!]"
One of the original spells created by the Lexington Family, Body Manipulation, allows Klendiana to manipulate her body to mitigate damage. As soon as the spike comes from the ground, it hits Klendiana. However, when the Earth Spike hits her body, the magician can only see water trickle out from her body.
"H-how did you!?"
CLANG!! CLANG!!
A sound of metal clashing between Kurt's sword and Bazba's axe. Bazba is slowly getting overwhelmed as Kurt makes his move to disarm his axe.
"[Weapon Disarm!!] [Shockwave Swing!!]"
"Agh!!"
Bazba's axe was disarmed, and he was thrown to the wall at high speed from Kurt's Shockwave Swing attack.
"GUAH!"
Staggered, he tries to get on his feet, but Kurt knocks him out as he delivers another blow.
"That's one down."
Klendiana looks at her father knocks Bazba unconscious. Now, she uses multiple spells on the magician as soon as the earth spike dissipates.
"G-geh…! [Multi Cast]?? Furthermore, [Spell Stacking]!?"
Fire, Lightning, and Ice gather together as Klendiana unleashes them on the magician with her staff. At first, the magician was chilled as her body temperature dropped, but later, the combination of lightning and fire, which transforms into overload, breaks her mana as she screams in pain. People look at it as Klendiana using [Spell Stacking]. Instead, Klendiana utilizes her magic to create an elemental style for [Mana Overload], but it also deals damage in the process.
After suffering [Mana Overload], the magician was knocked out, and Klendiana tied her up.
"Don't forget me!"
CLANG!
"Ngh…! You brat!! How dare you!!"
Hiero didn't believe what Klendiana had just done. She managed to defeat a magician that was worth a B-Rank class adventurer. On the other hand, he was occupied with another kid from the Lexington Family, Reynes. Just who are these people?
Kurt only stood and watched as Bazba and the magician were tied up.
"This kid! They're not just an ordinary kid! They're monsters!"
"Hey. It's rude to call us monsters, you know. We still have more lessons to receive."
Hiero is getting frustrated as he will make a desperate attempt not to let them capture him. Popping some smokescreen, he dashes to escape, only to find Frabela, and the escorts are blocking her exit.
"I have you now!"
As he was about to take Frabela hostage, a foot suddenly emerged from the smoke, and he was thrown to the wall, knocking him out.
"Who would've thought that he's just stupid."
"Thank you for saving us."
"It's our job. Let's tie him up and get out from here."
"Don't forget to loot every single of their furniture and treasures. We don't want any bandits to set up a new hideout here."
"I will tell my father to prepare the knights to take everything out tomorrow."
"The sooner, the better. Have some messenger head back to the capital to get some carriage at once."
"Right away."
The last day of the Subjugation of Hiero Bandit ends with twenty bandits killed, and the remaining forty-five surrendered once the bandit leader, Hiero, was captured. Ten Knights and six prisoners were wounded, but thankfully no one was killed.
