As I was laying my body back into him, I could feel myself relaxing. "We have a wonderful mate," my wolf said to me.
"We really do," I replied back to her. "Do you have a name?"
"I do have a name, but I do not wish to tell you now. It will have to wait for when you are ready to accept your full powers," she responded as she cut off our link.
I felt Kiah stirring behind me, getting ready to get up. I lifted myself off of him so that he could move easier. Before he moved away from me, he grabbed my shoulders and turned me towards him.
"You've been quiet since finishing your breakfast," he said quietly, "are you feeling alright?"
"My wolf just refused to tell me her name," I replied in a huff. "She said that she won't tell me until I was ready to accept my full powers."
"Interesting," he replied quietly.
"Well, it may be bad timing, but I believe she will still help us. I've always felt safe with you. You have protected me, and I have never truly thanked you. Thank you." I replied as I gently removed his hands from my shoulders so that I could wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him gently on the lips.
He laid back into the bed holding the kiss, I maneuvered so that my body was on top of him as our lips stayed in constant contact. Someone knocked on the door and we pulled apart, both not wanting to.
"Come in," I said as I sat up and slid next to him.
"I know you guys are deeply in love," Kyle said as he walked in, "and obviously in your own little world, but there are things that we need to go over, and someone is here to see you both." He said as he walked back out of the room, not shutting the door behind him.
"I suppose that's our queue, my love," Kiah said as he slipped off the bed, holding his hand out to me.
I smiled at him and realized that I could spend the rest of my life with him, and I would be the happiest woman on the earth. I grabbed his hand as he helped me off the bed, holding hands walked into the living room.
The minute we got to the living room my fantasy façade ended, because sitting in Kyle's lazy boy was none other than Scott. It took all the self-control I had to not kill him then and there, and I felt that same tension running through Kiah's body. Both our wolves wanted to rip his throat out. Now I understood why most people were scared of werewolves. Only the untrained can't control their beast and could turn at any time when losing control of their emotions.
With a born werewolf, the first change they have is at the first full moon when they hit puberty and most new ones cannot control their anger until they hit their late teens, early twenty's. I learned that the hard way with Kiah. But, we taught each other through experience as we grew up, how to control his anger. That's how we became so strong; We helped each other harness our powers. Even though I had no wolf.
"I don't want you involved Scott, I don't want you here, and I don't want you near me," I said as calmly as I could, still holding Kiah's hand.
He looked at me, then looked at our hands, and sneered. "Well I know why you don't want me here, and why you don't, ah, need me, but I came to warn you anyway. Cassandra Haveski is the head of the vampire assassination team, and she knows your back in the states. Due to Kyle's amazing powers, after the werewolf incident that I was told about, he put the whole house in an untraceable area. Basically, Kyle is exerting all his power to a portal that can contain a werewolf without hurting him." He paused and pointed to Kiah, then continued, "But we know he can't hold it forever so you need to be on the move, Yelena."
"Kyle knows he shouldn't be doing it alone. Scott, if you tell anyone where we are, I will kill you myself, and I will enjoy it." I walked over to him and whispered in his ear, "If you hurt my father or my brother, I will make you suffer, I'm different now Scott, I'm not the same girl you met two years ago."
I grabbed his hair and yanked him down to his knees, then slapped him across the face his body hitting the carpet hard enough to leave a burn. He looked up at me, fear in his eyes and I just laughed at him.
"You need to leave Scott unless you have information on where I can find my brother and my dad. There's no reason for you to come near me, my family, or my friends ever again." I reached down to help him up, and he slapped my hand away. I continued to smile as he picked himself up off of the floor. "That was just payback for what you did to me."
He put his suit to rights and walked to the front door and while looking at me he said, "I only have one clue as to where your father might be, and he told me that you needed to visit your mother." And he walked out the front door and disappeared.
