Chapter 70 - 70

It took them half a day to finish. The things that they bought will be delivered to the address that he provided.

Augustus looked at the tired Louise.

"Hungry?" Augustus asked as they walked back.

"I am." Louise nodded weakly. She was really so tired and hungry.

"Okay. Let's eat before going back." Augustus grabbed her small hands and held it tightly.

"I'm so tired..." Louise whined. It was the truth. Preparing for their house is so tiresome and all of her energy were quite used up.

Augustus wanted to carry her but Louise was so dead set against it.

"Don't carry me. A back ride will do..." Louise said. She wanted to try how it feels to be at the back of her man.

"Okay." Augustus said and squatted down. Louise hastily climbed at his back and giggled.

"Are you that happy?" He asked as they walked along the mall.

"I am. You know I don't have that much recollection of my childhood and I also don't have memories being a teenager. So I am happy." Louise said as she leaned on his broad shoulders.

"Then, let me make it up to you..." Augustus said.

He knew that she didn't have so many memories and he wanted to be the one who make it up for her.

That was why he didn't want to rush things up between them and he wanted to make more memories together with her.

"Thank you." She said weakly. She was quite sleepy while they walked along the mall corridors.

Augustus sighed. She said thank you again.

"Don't say that..." He said with helplessness. He really couldn't shake that habit off. He wanted to make her feel that he is her pillar of support and not just someone who helped her.

It became quite. The even breathing on his back made him smile. She was really tired. She even fell asleep while she was at his back.

Augustus slowly walked and entered the elevator. He don't know how to put her down as she was sleeping quite well.

He waited some time to wake her up.

"We're here..." He said softly.

Louise rubbed her eyes. And her contacts fell and her green orbs came to view.

She hummed in returned and slowly got off from Augustus' back.

The man held her arms to not let her fall.

"Let's eat first. Be good okay?" He was like coaxing a little child.

"Where are we?" She asked as she groggily glanced at their surroundings.

"At the mall's rooftop. I reserved the whole venue..." He said as he guided her to the table.

"Ohhh..." She scanned the surroundings and found it beautiful. A rooftop garden and some lavender were planted on the small garden beds.

Augustus led her towards the table and pulled the seat for her.
