"Thank you." Louise said as she settled down.
"My pleasure..." Augustus smiled at her sweetly.
Not long after, a trolley was pushed towards them by a waiter.
He wordlessly served the two and excused himself thereafter.
It was such a romantic setting. A candle light dinner with roses and champagne.
"So, what did you do to the Su's?" Augustus asked as he cut the well-done steak for her.
"Wrecked their party..." She shortly said but her face showed happiness.
"Who's with you? Is it your friend, Shirley?"
"En. She got the whole thing planned and she even got the evidence. I don't know how she did it but she was quite efficient." Louise commented as she began to eat. Augustus began eating too.
"Is it the one surnamed Lu?"he asked as he bit the steak gently.
"Yes... She's that...How did you know?" She was quite surprised.
"Remember I told you that Luda and Fritz belong to a mercenary team and it was owned by the Lu's. They were the kings of underground." Augustus reminded her.
Right. It was Luda who shot her father to death and it was him who backed out from the negotiations and double crossed.
So Luda belonged to the Lu's.
Augustus nodded. He knew many of the power houses in this country as he started his underground business here.
"Is that so?" Louise frowned. She was thinking how can she get Luda after this.
"Don't worry too much. I will help you when the time comes... If you want..." Augustus offered his help.
"No. I will figure this out." Louise shook her head gently.
"Okay. But I'm here. Just a word. Alright?" He lightly patted her head.
"En." She accepted the favour as she knew that when the time comes, war is inevitable. She needed much help from Augustus as he knew many people.
"Eat. We have to go home after this." Augustus resumed to eating and Louise wordlessly followed the suite.
The dinner ended well and they talked more of their plans.
They walked back to their car and drove away.
Louise's eyes were quite heavy as she was stuffed and now the tiredness crept in again. She yawned for how many times.
"Just sleep. We'll be there in no time..." Augustus said and adjusted her seat lightly.
"Okay. Just wake me up when we get there..." Louise finally dozed off. Augustus fished out a small blanket on the compartment and put it on her. He slightly got the aircon higher so that she won't feel cold.
Lander's call came in but he didn't answer it right away. He glanced at the sleeping woman beside him and checked if she were woken up by the ringing phone.
As the streets were quite empty, Augustus found a spot and parked shortly.
