Chapter 61 - 61

6pm.

The trio left the mall with new looks. When they walked towards the elevator, many people looked at them with awe.

So gorgeous!

So beautiful!

So rich!

Louise and the girls already had a ride.

"Shirley, have you prepared the gift?" Louise playfully asked.

"Of course! It's such a big occasion and its impolite not to bring any right?" Shirley said and giggled.

Merideth stayed silent. She knew that this will be a night full of chaos and drama.

"Will this be okay?" Merideth was worried that they will be implicated.

"Don't worry. With me here, nothing can harm you!" Shirley patted her chest to assure her friend.

This made Merideth more nervous. Louise grabbed her hands as a sign of encouragement.

"Don't worry. We are here for you. After this, we will plan how can you go abroad without worries." Louise gently patted her hand.

"Thanks girls. I know you both treat me the best." Merideth looped her both arms to both of their necks and they hugged inside the limousine.

"By the way Shirley, where did you get this ride?" Louise asked. She never asked about something personal to them as she respected their privacy.

"Ehh? It's mine of course..." Shirley said seemingly amused by her silly question.

Merideth knew more about Shirley than Louise so she told her roughly about her. She didn't go into details.

"Aye! Another rich Missy. Can I leech off some of your riches then?" Louise joked. Merideth and Shirley smiled knowingly.

"Be prepared to be stuffed to death then." Shirley acted like a haughty young mistress.

The trio laughed at their antics.

"Where are we going?" Louise asked as their ride was still driving.

She came to Merideth's house once and remembered that their villa is in the city center.

"The engagement is at thr Carlton Hotel..." Merideth said.

"Do you have the invitation?" Louise continued to ask.

"Yes. I already got one." Merideth said. Actually, her palms had been sweating because of nervousness.

This could be the night that will change her life forever.

Louise and Shirley talked about anything under the sun. That's why they clicked real quick when they have each other's company.

The limo pulled to a stop and the ladies began to be nevous.

"Are you ready guys?" Louise ask as they jad that meaningful smile.

"We're ready!" The two said with unity.

"Okay. Let's wreck this party!!" Shirley exclaimed.

The two laughed hardly.

The driver opened the car door for them and one after another, they came out.

The usherers looked at them, stunned by their glowing faces.

"Close your mouth darling... It's about to fall." Shirley teased as she passed by them.

"Eldest Miss..." One of the staff acknowledged Merideth.

Merideth nodded. "Don't bring us in. We can manage. Do your work well." After saying her piece, they walked towards the elevator.

"Ehem. So, you can be cold too." Shirley joked.

"I am not really that friendly..."Merideth frowned. She fished out her invitation from the small satchel she carried.

"Don't be nervous guys. We still have things to do." Louise said.
