Izzy wasn't sure what to make of Julian. At the very least, he seemed to like Roz and listen to what she said since he agreed to take her out in the first place despite their sort-of fight yesterday.
That was one thing he had going for him. And he had made an effort to talk to the younger kids earlier when picking her up despite looking rather uncomfortable doing so.
He was trying. That was more than she had expected from him.
"I guess so," she said reluctantly in response to his statement. "Anyway, why are you offended that you're not my type? It's not like I'm yours."
"How would you know that?" Julian asked.
Izzy eyed him strangely as he parked the car and they got out to enter the barbecue restaurant. Was he being purposely evasive or did that mean she actually was his type? Impossible. This stuck-up guy couldn't possibly be interested in someone like her.
