Hearing the man calling him a blood-sucking demon, got Abel worried since no one knew of his identity.
'Can it be that he is also a vampire just like me' Abel thought to himself before focusing on the heartbeat to confirm his thoughts but to his surprise, the young man has one which rules out the possibility of being a vampire.
"what blood-sucking demon are you talking about" said Abel as he tries to play it safe.
"Don't play games with me boy, I know what you are and my nose never lies" said the man.
"Your nose never lies? Who the hell are you and what business do you have with me" asked Abel in confusion since he don't understand what the man was talking about.
"ha-ha, you want to know who I am kid, do you think you will still be able to maintain your composure if you were to know of my identity" said the man.
'Could he be one of those beings that Mr. McCray warned me about' thought Abel as he stare at the man?
"Since you wanted to know about my identity that badly, I guess I have no choice but to show you" he said before throwing his jacket to the side as he begin to make some funny sounds while his body twist here and there until he was down with his hand holding onto his head as he screams in pain.
Abel begins to get worried when seeing this sight before him since he was reminded of a night creature which he has seen in a movie that also went through this process and that is a werewolf.
With all the pain the man is passing through, the shape of a wolf begins to surface and Abel had to take a step back to distance himself from the beast since he already had an idea of who the young man is.
"he could be here to kill me since he failed to the other time thanks to Mr. McCray," said Abel as he begin to run.
It didn't take much time before the transformation was complete as a huge wolf-like creature is now standing in place of the young man.
"Owooooo"
Then came the wolf cry before the beast charged deep into the woods in search of its prey and once in a while it will have to stop and sniff the air to pick up the scent before continuing the hunt.
Meanwhile, Abel who thought with his new ability to run faster would be able to outrun the wolf once it has completed his transformation, actually, turn out to be a joke for he could see the beast getting closer to him every minute.
"Why did I decide to go into the woods to hunt" Abel begins to complain as he tries to increase the rate at which he was running but unfortunately for him, the werewolf was faster as he was knocked off the ground.
He rolled for some time before he came to a stop as he struggled to get up with gritted teeth while there was a deep wound on his stomach that was caused by the beast's claws.
Staring at the beast in hopeless defeat, Abel begins to wreck his brain on how to get rid of the beast before him knowing fully well that he would be dead meat if he were to give it a shot. But before he could come up with a solution, the beast was already before him as it slash its claws at him.
Barely avoiding the claw, Abel pick a tree branch that was laying on the ground while waiting for the beast to come at him once more. Seeing Abel being armed, the beast begins to observe him as he begins to move in a circle while looking for an opportunity to strike.
After moving for some time, the beast was able to find an opening as it charged in while bearing is fang in hope of delivering a powerful bite to his target but before it could get close to Abel, the tree branch could already be seen coming its way as it connected with his stomach before it was sent flying while letting out a whimpering sound.
After successfully sending the beast away, Abel let out a deep breath before making a run for it now that the beast is down. His destination was no other than Mr. McCray's residence since it is the only safe place he could think of and after running for some time, he suddenly heard a beast roar coming from behind.
"how come he is able to track me down that easily" grumble Abel as he increases his pace.
Their chase continue for some time until the tower in which Mr. McCray brought him to when he first turned, Abel yell for help as he continue to run toward the tower as the beast begin to get closer and closer before it jump on him and this time around, Abel was not able to evade the attack as the beast claw digs into his stomach.
With a cry of pain, Abel kick the beast back before it could think of following up with another set of attacks. Laying on the ground with his hand covered in blood. seeing the beast clawing at him again, Abel finally gave up on any resistance as he close his eyes while awaiting death but before the claw could get to him, a "thud" was heard follow by a wolf cry and Abel has to open his eyes to take a look at what is happening only for him to see someone standing in front of him while looking ahead of him.
When Abel focus his gaze on where the man in front of him was looking at, Abel was shocked to see that the beast that has been chasing after him has been smacked into a tree.
"getting into trouble are we" said Mr. McCray in a cold voice as he continue to watch the beast.
