Chapter 19 - CHAPTER 18: Plans.

look, I still don't have my laptop back, and at this point I'm so desprate that I wrote this in my first language and used google translate. If some sentenses are off, its probably due to that. Again, I will fix it once I have my laptop back.

.........................................................................................

Sirin didn't think much about the conversation with the girl. Why should he care that he could get the Naga bloodline so easily?

The moment the cambion had also fallen asleep, only Sirin remained awake.

Jan had realized by now that Sirin needed him alive. And Mirana, even if she was the only creature most likely to be killed by Sirin, was comfortable enough to sleep in his field of vision.

Sirin sat in one of the trees and admired the stars. If these were also in hell, he may never have wanted to go to the mortal worlds.

As the moon slowly set to make way for the sun, Sirin's companions awoke.

Sirin felt a little disappointed in himself. He could have easily burned part of the tree as a flame demon and used the ashes to draw on their faces. He must have been too distracted by this world. Now he didn't have time for it anymore.

"Awake at last?" He spoke as he casually hung upside down in the tree, holding only his tail.

The man sprang up when the young demon's face was suddenly very close to his.

Sirin grinned from ear to ear as he looked at the startled man. He had a hard time doing this with Amanda. She had probably seen so many demons over the years, who were certainly much more terrifying than him. But this human, well he was just fun to mess with.

"Tell me human. What do you plan to do now?"

Jan just stared at Sirin who let himself fall from the tree. Was it just him or did the demon seem a little bigger? Initially, the creature appeared to be about the size of an adult male. The feind's presence, however, was somehow more menacing.

The man shivered under the pale blue glow in the creature's eyes and the flash of long white teeth that emerged as it spoke.

"Oh come on! You had bigger plans than this, didn't you? Will you just sit here and wait for another demon to kill you once I let my guard down? That wasn't why you wanted to escape so badly that you decided to make a deal with me. Or at least I hope so."

Jan took a deep breath to calm down. Even if the demon had bad intentions, he would be fine, right?

"There…" he hesitated halfway through his sentence, not knowing whether to share this information with a demon. "There are other bunkers like mine. If we manage to get there, I'll live. And if they're at least a little bit better than my people, they'd be willing to shelter Mirana too."

"Awesome!" Sirin clapped his hands. "If we go in there, give me your gun! I'll shoot some people to assert dominance and gather the souls I need. Then you can take over that bunker while I sit by your side for a few more days, or maybe even weeks. After that I can go back to hell on my own and you can threaten everyone who is against you that I still have your back, and you can rule with an iron fist!"

The human just nodded.

Sirin wagged his tail proudly. "See? Now we have a good plan."

He saw from the corner of his eye how Mirana was apparently lost in thought after hearing the conversation between them.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go right now!" Sirin spoke in a cheerful tone.

With the human and the cambion in front, Sirin couldn't help but to frown. He knew full well that the man would not follow this plan to be set in motion. The moment he reached the bunker, he would most likely be killed by the humans. After all, if that base can't resist a single demon, then it was pretty worthless to go there in the first place.

To avoid this inconvenience, he would just make sure they never reach that bunker. He needed the human alive and he had already finiched his part of the deal. This meant that if he didn't kill the human, he was basically free to do whatever he wanted.

He hadn't quite decided what to do with him yet. His main plan up till now, however, was to let humans find the other humans. Once he did, Sirin would take him, but still hold him somewhere close to the bunker.

There he would make him bleed, make him cry out for help. This would certainly attract at least some of the other people. This way he could take them one on one and he didn't have to worry about losing to these humans. If he felt he had enough souls to make this journey not a total waste of time, he would release the human and leave peacefully.

The only thing was that he had no idea what to do with the cambion. He didn't like her at all and her constant questions and attempts to have pointless conversations were very annoying.

Suddenly he stopped his steps when he realized something. He actually did the same with Amanda. Had she been annoyed by him too?

He certainly didn't want that. But if that was the case, he would have to find a way to make up for it as soon as possible. Last time, he didn't get a chance to find a present for her. So he decided to make a small change to his plan, he would also look for a good souvenir for Amanda.
