Chapter 4 - An ordinary day of being abducted by an intergalactic salesman Part 4

I ran out of the room and discovered he hadn't taken me far from my dorm room, only about a brisk 5 minute walk. That gave me about eight minutes once I got there to collect my stuff. I started going over in my head what I should bring. Athletic clothing for sure, probably some chocolate from my every present stash, who knows what kind of food they might have there. Definitely my red F*iry T*il guild mark necklace, it seemed like I'd need N*atsu's courage for this. Maybe a nice dress? Would formal wear be something I need on a foreign planet? A foreign planet... would that make me an alien? That might not be so bad though... alien Elithabeth. I kinda like the sound of that.

I reached my dorm room and pulled out a small suitcase, glad that my room was separate from the others so I didn't have to try to avoid people, or would the barrier hide me all together? That's something I'd have to experiment with if I got the chance later. I stuffed all the things into the suitcase that I'd already decided on, along with a formal dress. I checked my phone, I still had three minutes left. What else should I bring? I glanced around my small room, spotting the framed picture of me and my twin brother in our graduation gowns with our parents standing beside us. It was one of my favourite pictures, on of the only ones we all looked happy in. I grabbed it and stuffed it in my suitcase.

Two minutes. I tried to send a goodbye text to my mom. It didn't go through. I figured as much. I grabbed a pen and paper and wrote a hasty note addressed to my family, saying I'd gotten a super exclusive exchange program request that I had accepted but had to keep secret for confidencial reasons. It was a lame excuse, but it was better than just completely disappearing right? This might make them worry a bit less. I tore the sheet out of my notebook and left it on my desk. On of the other students would find it eventually. I put the pen and notebook in my bag. One minute left. Toiletries. Shit, I forgot about them completely. I ran over to my bathroom and grabbed a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner. I had just managed to shove them into my suitcase and zip it up when Donovan appeared in the doorway to my room.

"Time to go," he said as he grabbed my arm and we vanished from the room in a puff of smoke.
