Chereads / A Witches Trouble / Chapter 2 - Chapter Two

Chapter 2 - Chapter Two

As the waggon stopped, I grabbed my bag and jumped out of the waggon, watching the other girls stumble out as if they were afraid of getting hurt. There was a few though that I was watching carefully.

One, of course, was the elf girl. She had been the only one to spot me, mostly of her ears. Possibly a difficult enemy to fight in the future depending on her other abilities and fighting skills. I had to watch out for her incase she become to much of a problem.

There was this other girl. She stepped out of the waggon as if she was the queen of the world. Her head high, her eyes barely scanning over everyone before she ignored them. Her long black hair in a braid and she had a giant sword in her back scabbard. A metal sword. Good, not silver. She gave off a dangerous aura, I knew she was someone to stay away from.

Then there was one other girl I noticed. She had huge round eyes, blue-ish with a slight gold around the middle. I knew these types of people. She was small, innocent looking, and her body was curvy in the perfect ways that any man would be entranced by. Her tight clothes made her hard to ignore. She was a succubus. Someone who could take down all males with a single look. She was good to have as a partner, but she was also dangerous with her power.

I stayed behind all the girls, making sure I could watch the three very closely. They all didn't have a lot of bags to carry and didn't speak a single word as they walked towards the line of other females. It was the place where we would meet the headmaster.

"I can't wait to see what room I get to stay in." The succubus girl skipped as she spoke. The other girls didn't say anything back to her, obviously aware that they could be killed at any second. No one saw me though. A good way to start to camp. Not being seen.

As we all lined up, I pulled out some cards that I had where I wrote down all the spells I had learned. Okay, the spell I needed to trick the headmaster didn't need any words. I just needed to sway my hand left, right, down, then up, and snap.

That's when I noticed a girl with short brown hair looking at me and I quickly stuffed the stabled cards into my bag to hide them and threw my hood over my head. I was different from the others. They were beautiful in the way that showed they took care of themselves. Me, I was born pretty. In a witches way at least. With my dark skin, my purple eyes, and my brunette hair that was put up in a messy rushed bun that I made this morning.

My eyes made the mistake of glancing towards the other side of the camp, near the walls where the gate was. I could now see the boys who were lined up in a straight line. They all had their eyes forwards or looking towards the girls.

I snarled at them, but turned my head to the front. Stupids. They were already drooling over people they didn't even know. Would they not realize they can be killed here?

"Welcome ladies." A low-grunting voice spoke. I snapped my head towards the voice.

The headmaster. He had a tall muscular body, a shaved face, a puffy face with small eyes and tattoos littered his arms.

"So, you all came to this camp for something. A dream, a plan, a power, a skill, or maybe you were just sent here by your parents to get some education that they couldn't prepare you for themselves." His voice was deep and had a dangerous growl to it.

His eyebrows furrowed, "Well I must tell you now, it's too late to leave. You chose to do this and now you must learn to survive against the many people in this camp." He paused as he looked at the line of girls, "But we do have rules. Rules that, if you don't follow, you'll be killed. The way you die will be my choice and I won't go easy on you. Any of you." His eyes narrowed.

"Rule one, No leaving campgrounds. Rule Two, No attacking anyone but other campers. Rule Three, No going to the boys camp area after dark, I don't want to hear about you doing anything freaky with them," He added and I watched some of the girls gag or blush from embarrassment. I could already tell some of them came here to get with a guy.

"Rule Four, If I find out you've been in my cabin or any of the workers cabins, you'll be killed on the spot."

I gulped. I could be killed just by trying to put my name on the list. I could go right now while he was talking and make it back in time to trick him into thinking he had actually known I was coming here. But in doing so, I would have to cast a spell.

But I didn't have another chance. This was the only time I would have a chance to do it before he went over the people on the list.

So, waiting as he started on the other end of the line, I let my hand glow a dark purple and whispered under my breath.

"Duplicare (Duplicate)" I muttered. Suddenly it felt as if I was pulled out of my body and backing away from the spot I was, I quickly said the next spell. "Invisibilis (isvisible)"

Good. Now there was another me and no one could see me for until I cancel the spell. I hurried away from everyone, searching the area for a sign to tell me where the main cabin was. There was one with a golden sign that had 'main cabin' carved into it. I hurried towards it.

That's when I noticed guards. They walked left to right. If I was getting in, I would have to open and close the door at the perfect timing.
