"How so?"

"Always clutching her nose into other people's business. She behaves like she has to safeguard her nephew's possession or something. Like one of us is about to scorch the territory to the ground at any moment."

Eve loll back.

"Why would anyone commend that? You reside here too."

"Exactly."

She jerked her head. "Well, you don't have to bother about her influencing my decision. I'm an advocate. I shape my own viewpoints based on proof, not hearsay."

"Sheesh, you even sound like a lawyer."
