I snapped back from my thoughts when one of my fellow travellers spoke to me, he said "follow me closely prince there are many types of dangerous illusions covering this place one mistake and you could forever be lost in this maze". I nodded and observed the man who spoke to me, he was a scary looking middle aged man.He was well built and was over six feet tall and his striking feature was his bright red hair, next to him was a haughty looking brat who had green eyes.What caught my attention most was neither of them but the breathtaking woman near them she had dark brown eyes, silky smooth hair, a beautiful figure and she shared an uncanny resemblence to a young Monica belluci, the actress. She made me remember my teenage years and brought back memmories of the movie malena.One of my fantasies would have been fulfilled if she and I were alone in this island without these losers.I was closely following them thinking of ways to hit on her and why I didn't notice her earlier.I tried to start a conversation with her but she showed little interest in my small talks and barely replied which gave me earthly flash backs of how awkward I was, in holding a conversation with women.She said her name was Angela and mostly nodded to my questions.My attempt of simping failed miserably.I noticed the kid's mocking gaze during my small talks with her and felt that he was enjoying my misery.
I asked the red hair how much more we have to travel as the small island was not what it seemed from the outside, he replied that we should make it to the place in two days.The island was beautiful to look at occasional waterfalls, very tall trees, beautiful flowers thankfully we didn't meet any accidents on the way and I thought this dude was just being over dramatic about illusions and whatnots.Apparently the rations were stored in a space ring, it is very handy it is somewhat similar to what I read in novels and needs mana to activate it.Funny thing was I didn't have one, maybe because I didn't have any mana.It was turning dark and the man said that we are camping under that tree and showed us a large pink coloured tree.i was somewhat tired and i rested under the tree.The man gave me some pills as food,I thought somebody would cook for me since I am a Prince but sadly no.I thought this maybe the norm while travelling to places like these.While handling out the pills I noticed his injured hand, it seemed burned .I didn't ask him anything because he wanted to hide it .I asked the man his name and he replied "I am Kane" .After some time I scanned through the Prince's memory to find something about these people but couldn't find anything.I know that I can't access the Prince's memory completely but it seems like I met these people for the first time otherwise It would have been awkward asking them their name.I observed the people with me, the man seemed meditating, the woman and the kid were setting up a tent.I lighted a small fire near me using the twigs under the tree and began recounting the day's events suddenly something wrapped around my foot and I was launched into the air.
