Suddenly something wrapped around my foot and I was launched into the air, I was frozen to the core and couldn't react to it, while in air I saw large green vines wrapped around my foot and I instinctively reached for my boot to look for the knife I brought with me from the ship, before I could take the knife I saw the vines being cut down and I also fell down simultaneously.when I was about to hit the ground angela caught me in a princess carry position and I just grabbed her tightly,she jumped back and put me down further away from the fight.It was an embarrassing situation for me but i turned my attention towards the vines that was being cut down by the red haired man,looking closely I could see the large vines which looked like big snakes attacking him but the man skillfully evaded it's every hits and whenever his sword cuts the vine it caught fire and burned.Within minutes he subdued the monster and uprooted it with some sort of fire magic.I was very anxious about this fight ,even though I have seen fights with monsters during the voyage it still feels different watching it from a distance and taking part in it.
After the battle Kane enquired whether I was ok I said yes and he told me to put out the fire and sleep closer to him, During the fight I noticed that I was the only one anxious, even the kid looked relaxed and had a condescending attitude towards me.Angela and the kid went back to the tent.i slept closer to the middle aged man who was still in his meditating position with his eyes closed.
The next day nothing special happened and things didn't turn worse. we resumed our journey,I closely followed the man because he seemed reliable.
I thanked him for yesterday and asked him about the vine monster he said it was part of a carnivorous plant and was relatively weak .i enquired about his flame techniques, he said that it was just his fire aura. I pried further about his background but he didn't give me much except the fact that he was a Knight.
To start a conversation with Angela I said that I appreciated her help for yesterday , she said it was all the red haired man but i still thanked her and started some small talks with her.I asked her whether she was also as strong as him, she replied "not yet".we didn't see any more monsters on the way.Finally after some time I saw a magnificent Palace, the red haired Kane said "Prince that is our destination the white castle and we will be entering it through the side door".
The Palace was amazingly beautiful ,it seemed that it was made of some precious white marbles, the Outer walls were filled with some weird looking drawings and some illegible language in golden colour. Our party entered the castle through the door Kane mentioned
