Author's Note: This is the first chapter for the day so, look out for another one later! Also, this part and the next will cover everything that is happening at the present. Lastly, I have a new schedule for all of my releases. I will be releasing around 2 chapters every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. What is happening right now?!
I feel like I have been saying that a lot though. Why does trouble have to happen every time I am about to do something important or when I find some important information? Wait, I should calm down right now. Panicking never did help me before so, I shouldn't start now.
Alright, I'll need to calmly assess the situation at hand right now. There was a voice that sounded like it was surrounding the entire stadium and said that they were going to 'crash the party'. That definitely means that someone or something is going to attack right now.
Plus, the voice right now had so much power and pressure behind it that I almost fainted from the shock! But, judging by what the mysterious voice said, it almost sounds like they won't be joining this supposed attack on the stadium.
*Screaming* *(There is so much screaming that no one in the crowd can hear anything)*
Wait, screaming already?!
Aren't the guards supposed to being taking care of the threat!? There can't be more than just a few attackers as they would never been able to get into the stadium if they had a number that was higher than 15. Do they somehow have a person with the ability to use teleportation?! If that is the case then, this is a much bigger threat than I anticipated earlier.
"All inhabitants of Quaran, this is not a drill! A large group of aggressors have invaded the city and are now wreaking havoc but, remember all of your training and you will be fine! The city soldiers and the foreign guards are now assembling to take on the threat! I repeat, do not panic! Your fear will only encourage these men to become more aggressive!"

Was that a city-wide announcement...? That voice belongs to the man who would usually give the daily news through the casting device in the town square. That means that... these people are attacking from everywhere.
How many of them are just running around the city, killing innocent lives? How many people will die from this one attack? The guards may be able to detain some of them but, they have a person who could potentially teleport most of them out of danger, so that they could plot another attack...
These people are just going around killing and won't even have to suffer any consequences as they won't be caught... The city that has been so kind to me for nearly 2 years..., all of the people who were nice to me; the family who took care of me in lieu for my parents; the other candidates who gave me a sense of competitiveness; and Glaive, who trained all of us,... is dying.
And I can't even do anything about it...
"Kill them all!"
"There is a kid here as well! What do I do?"
"Take care of him as well, idiot!"
No, I won't let people who were stained by the blood of others ever kill me. No one will ever kill me... or anyone else I know. You know, Soul Rejection may not be a bad idea for once. It looks like I will need to put my God power to use then. I can then kill all of these bastards and give them the deaths they so deserve!
(Alex, I know how you're feeling and I am burning with hatred as well but, this will critically injure you as well so please, you need to think about this rationally!)
(Shut up, Calido! You're a Divine Beast who is one of the strongest living beings in this world! You don't know what it is like to be helpless and not being able to do anything of worth! Now, give me all of your Mana! This is an emergency situation!)
Calido doesn't understand a thing about being worthless and powerless. All he has to do is give me his Mana.
Glaive said that Mana is the lifeblood of this world, meaning that it can empower anything, hence why it can be used in conjunction with sword techniques. If that is the case, his Mana will empower my ability alongside my God-energy and reduce the side-effects of it.
(Calido, what time of day is it!?)
(... It is late afternoon.)
Afternoon?
The shadows are the largest during the late afternoon. I smile a bit and clutch Aether tightly in my hand. I'm going to kill all of these bastards, one way or another. No mercy for anyone who never showed a shred of mercy to those they have slaughtered.
I power my legs and jump as high as I can into the air. I raise Aether as high as I can into the air and start my declaration.
"I don't know who any of you are! I don't care about any of your circumstances! In light of that, I declare war on any murderers here and I won't stop until every one of you burn in the pits of Hell! Also, whoever's watching all of this unfold in the comfort of their room, I'm coming after you!"
"This kid thinks he can beat us, the ones who received guidance from God!?"
"Just kill him and get it over with!"
"Show him no mercy!"
I smile at their protests.
"You never showed mercy to anyone here at all. The ones who should be scared of death should be all of you as, this time, I'm the one who will not be showing any mercy for cowards who attack indiscriminately."
Intimidation is key here. There is no way that any of them will relent and change their mind about killing. There is also a zero percent chance for them to stop killing because I said so. This warning is for their boss who made them kill. I might as well make sure that the deaths of his men will be as unhonourable as possible. It also seems like they are religious fanatics so, I'll take a jab at that too.
"I'm going to blow all of you up until not even ashes remain. Now, repent forever in the pits of Purgatory and never reincarnate again! Your God shall fall! The endless skies will shatter! Heaven Collapse!!!"
