Chapter 12: John
John couldn't believe that he and Kate would be getting married soon. They wanted to get married on Valentine's Day and go on a honeymoon in Paris, so they saved their money. John's Aunt and Uncle were happy for John and Kate; they were getting married in five months and John couldn't wait.
John had ran into James who looked angry. "How could you betray me, I loved you like a brother and you stole Kate from me!" James shouted. "I didn't betray you, James. You never loved Kate and you said so yourself. You would never be interested in Kate if Jill hadn't broken up with you," John replied. "I was never interested in Jill, I dated her because I wanted her father to give me a job. That was the reason why I had to be rude to Kate. I would have explained that to her, but you stole her from me," James replied angrily. "I didn't steal Kate from you, I don't know why you are acting like this, but I know you don't love Kate," John replied angrily. "I will do everything in my power to win Kate back!" James declared and stormed off.
John couldn't understand why James was acting like a jerk. James never cared for Kate and he made it perfectly clear in the past. John called Kate. "Has James been bothering you?" John asked. "No why do you ask?" Kate asks. "James thinks I betray him," John explained.
"Why would he think that?" Kate asked. "He thinks I stole you from him," John replied. "That is dumb of him to think that, I was never going out with him. I hope he is not going to be a problem," Kate responded. "Don't worry, James will get over his anger soon," John soothed.
James:
James couldn't believe that John would betray him. He went looking for Kate and finds the hotel that she is staying in. James went to Kate's room and knocked really hard on the door. Kate answered the door. "What do you want James?" Kate asked. James pushed his way into Kate's room and grabs her by the neck then slams her into the wall. "James, let go of me!" Kate screamed. "How can you betray me, Kate. I love you!" James yelled back. "You don't love me, you don't know the meaning of that word," Kate replied.
Alex:
Alex went to visit Kate in her hotel room. When he was close to her room, he heard Kate scream. Alex ran and pushed the door open and saw James hitting Kate. Alex grabbed James by the arm and kicks him out of the room. Kate was crying and Alex went to hug her. Alex was going to pretend to be happy for Kate and John but planned to still stop the wedding. "I know you're going to marry John, but I hope we can still be friends?" Alex asked. "Alex, you will always be my friend," Kate replied. "I am glad to hear that," Alex replied.
Jill:
Jill also went to Kate's hotel room and as she approached, she saw that the door was open. She looked inside and saw Kate and Alex hugging. Jill pulled out her iPhone and took pictures. She couldn't wait to text them to John sure he would end things with Kate once he saw the pictures. When John received the pictures he immediately responded to Jill. "Jill, stop trying to cause problems for Kate and me. I trust Kate and I know her, and Alex are just friends." John countered. Jill was angry that her plan didn't work, but she wouldn't give up and trying to come between Kate and John.
