There was the slightest hint of relief on the samurai's face that came from Si's death. While it may not have been the biggest achievement, that appeared to be enough for her.
However, her proof of struggle, as meager as it was, soon lost its meaning.
A familiar and imposing set of doors had appeared once more, the many hands grabbing the various split pieces of Si, whether they were tattered on the ground or strung up on one of the icicles.
Then, after destroying some of the icicles in the immediate vicinity, Si walked out from the doors as good as new. He let out a small hum afterward.
"Hm. I've never been skewered by an icicle from the bottom before. Normally it's from the top..."
The samurai began visibly shaking.
"Impossible... impossible... I've done nothing? No, this can't be!"
She pushed down on her sword to support herself.
"I cannot fall here yet. For Rihanna, I must... fight."
