After driving the lance through its own horse's head, the knight slowly took it back out, with one hand gently holding on to the chin. He set the horse's head down with a level of care that made it seem he wasn't the one who just preemptively ended the horse's life.
Si had begun charging up an attack, the toxic green heart swirling. He had no intention to wait for the knight to finish its business. However, while he was doing such, Nicole waved her hand towards him.
"Not right now. She won't get hurt until her horse disappears."
Si briefly turned to her, raising an eyebrow in surprise.
"Interesting. I'll have to ask more about that later."
Green fluids continued to swirl around his core, but they were less rampant, now waiting for the right time to strike. Kairos narrowed his eyes. He still didn't think there was a need to merge with the wolf but was prepared to use some of his skills if necessary.
The knight didn't move for a few seconds.
