Da-hee liked the coffee that was given to her, it made her feel calmer and at that moment she let out a little smile. Mr Lee noticed this, then he asked her.
"You like the coffee?"
"Yes, thank you." Da-hee said, as she dropped the coffee on the table. She was done getting distracted either by Lee tae-hyun's face or by the nice coffee. "Why did you ask to meet me alone?"
"I want to get to know you."
"If you wanted to get to know me, you could have done so, while having brunch with me and your son. Which means, whatever you want to tell me must not be very good as you don't want your son to hear."
Mr Lee let out a slight chuckle that he tried to hide by covering his mouth with his hands. "I can see why my wife was so upset when she had her encounter with you. You are so direct; it almost comes across as rude."
"It was never my intention to be rude-"
"No no no, do not try to apologize for who you are." He finally looked up at her, which shocked da-hee a bit, and then he continued to speak. "I like your behaviour, it makes you seem like an honest person, a lot of people are not honest with me."
"Even though you do not want me to apologize for my manner of speaking, do you also not care about what I said to your wife?"
"I am sure you have paid for whatever you said to her. I want to talk about your relationship with my son. Since you are so direct, it will make this conversation a lot easier than I expected it to be. You are aware that you are not the type of girl that should be with my son?"
"Yes, I am aware."
"So, what are your intentions with my son?"
"We are not in love or anything, and I have no plans of going there. We are just having fun, and when we get tired, we will breakup like all young couples do."
"And what's to say you won't change your mind. He is the heir of a very large company. Marrying him will set you up for life."
"Do not think about me, but about your son. Let him enjoy his youth and actually date who he wants, before you marry him off to some cold-blooded girl from a rich family. Let's make a deal, if by the time he graduates, we have not broken up yet; then you can do whatever you feel like to break us up."
Mr Lee couldn't deny it, he was impressed by her behaviour. "Fine, I will agree to your terms and I will keep Lee sara off you for now."
Da-hee breathe a sigh of relief after hearing that. After she left the office, she met with hwan downstairs. Where there was brunch laid out near the pool but with only two plates.
"Your dad isn't joining us?"
"No, he is going to the office later."
"On Saturday, wow."
"His work is easier to deal with than his family, I don't blame him." Hwan said, as he walked toward the table.
