[Time until Birth: 0 Months, 0 Days, 0 Hours, 0 Minutes, 0 Seconds]
Birth fucking hurts, It's no wonder babies come out crying, they have no pain resistance and are forced through a hole with a ten-centimeter diameter. Then the doctor slaps you to get the blood flowing and it hurts more. UGH. So I scream, really loudly.
"Your son certainly has a good pair of lungs on him, Mrs. Gemynas," the doctor says with a slight Scottish lilt.
"Gets it from his father," My mother says playfully, though you can hear the exhaustion in her voice.
"Of course he does, dear" My Father agrees, faux exasperated.
"Give him to me, please," my mother says, "Let's get you home Mendal"

Although I could not see our home, it smelled distinctly of wood and a combination of other, less distinct smells. This gave a feeling of safety, sturdiness, and rustic homeliness to all who walked through the door.
I was carried to what I assumed to be my parents' bedroom, and placed in a crib. Either I was extremely tired, or the crib had cushioning charm on it, because I fell asleep the moment my head touched the pillow, not even noticing the blanket being pulled over my body.

4 month Time skip|
'It has been a few months since I last revised my mind palace, so let's get on that'. I like to update and review my mind space every few months for a few reasons. A, it's therapeutic, it's like building in Minecraft, except you don't have to be good a building because your vision gets perfectly translated from your thoughts to your mind space. And B, to keep bogies on their toes, even if no one is particularly interested right now, it is always better to be prepared.
Ooh, I totally forgot to do that. Alright, let's see, take that as the base, and modify it a bit to make it invisible. Can't forget to have it be a constant energy drain on enemies. Perfect, there is now an invisible field of gas that permeates my mind space and drains enemies of their power. Including that on top of my other defenses, my mind should be nigh impenetrable
What are those defenses you ask, well, we have the new first layer, which I just told you about. Then there is a starting village from literally any isekai anime (They are quite literally all the same). Every house has what I like to call an NPC in it, they are armed with a shotgun and a flamethrower and set to attack any intruders.
This city surrounds a castle, which is mounted with turrets on the walls and surrounded by dragons, now this is purposefully set up to make it seem like the obvious spot for all my memories and knowledge, but instead, I hid an underground bunker with an entrance in the forest that surrounds the city.
This underground bunker, though, does not hold my memories, it is one copy of 100, dotted around the expansive forest. And only if you get the correct one will you get an access code. All of these bunkers are unique and each one has its own access code with 27 digits.
You might think I'm done but no, you see my mind talent is high enough to simulate an expansive, though empty world and the space surrounding it, and I have made it so all visitors of my mind must come to a specific point on this world before they are let in, they aren't blocked from entering elsewhere, but they are guided to a specific point.
On a point that is basically the opposite end of the world, there is a small, hidden button in the grass, this button reveals a passcode system, you must input the access code from earlier to open up a hatch that leads you to a teleporter.
This teleports you to the moon orbiting the planet and leads you through another passageway, with yet another 27-digit passcode-protected door. Through this doorway is a massive, ever-expanding library.
There are two sections to this library, on the left are 22 rows of bookshelves. There are 12 bookshelves in each row, 4 shelves, 7 books on each shelf, and 24 chapters in each book. On the right is more of the same, however, each month that passes in my new life a new bookshelf is added. Each chapter of each book has exactly 1440 Memories stored in it, in chronological order. These books are constantly updating as events happen in real life.

A/N - You might think that these defenses are a bit overboard, but who says that Voldemort is the most accomplished legilimens that our MC will meet?
