She is a third year in the prestigious academy Vanguard and leader of Ice Flakes, part of the seven dragons in the academy; Fire Blossoms fire mages, Thunder Seekers they are thrill fanatics that seek adventure, Barbarians Will they are people who use their fists and martial arts to beat their opponents they are split into two groups the refined ones and the brutes, Light Bringers they are mainly holy and light power users who despise dark arts users, Steels Worshipers they are sword fanatics, Dark disciples they have two sides the ones who use it because thats their better affinity and uses it when necessary and those that have no qualms about it.
The guilds don't really discriminate when choosing members it's just the name the leader gave it they still have a ton of people with other elements but there's not a huge number.
Some of them have enmitys; like Barbarians Will and Steels Worshipers or Dark Disciples and Light Bringers.
And last of all the conflict between Ice Flakes and Fire Blossoms, its not really a conflict but the Fire Blossoms leader Jake BlueBlood had been pestering her for years asking her to join him and merge guilds saying if they merged they would grow to be a mid-high rank faction upon graduating his villain monologue about merging was quite cliche.
She knew he didn't mean any harm she had known him all her life but he did sound like a villain.
She obviously declined but he kept insisting.
She was on her last straws so she made a deal to meet each other in Jeremiah china town one of those Chinese neighbourhoods not those cramped alleyways with Chinese shops, hotels and stalls, it was a big plaza square with popular shops and entertainment.
They would meet there and he could freely use any methods to convince her and if he couldn't he would have to give up, the meeting was in four days, and there were two weeks until the new semester began.

It was risky but it was the only option, she also needed more labour force for the faction chores so it would be convenient to hire helpers either way.
