James' POV
I don't bother finishing the rest of the school day knowing that I wouldn't be able to rest until I find my Carramel and have her back in my arms. My mind is going a mile a minute in all different directions as I try to figure out how the fuck I let this happen. Sloan keeps trying to convince me that there's nothing I could've done, and that they chose during the school day for a reason. But I know that I should've been more diligent and just let her stay home this morning like she was begging me to.
Alex and I hop in our cars and in no time we're racing back to the pack house, breaking a few speeding laws on the way. We get to the house in record timing and I don't even take my key out of the ignition before I'm jumping out and heading into the building knowing that I won't be here for long.
