Thomas's POV
She snorts, teaching towards me to smack me against the head. The action making me want to bare my fangs at her but I refrain. She's not the only one Slipping. I can already feel the growing hunger and I know I need contact with someone, anyone with negative energy to feed off of.
Nysa must feel it too, because her steps quicken in an effort to reach on of the many boards in town. The screens, that line every other street on town, showcases the faces of the people that serve as Prey for the night. Not everyone in the city knows what the faces mean, but those who do are often caught watching us from the windows in rapture.
"I hope to dismantle the King. he's been winning for as long as anyone can remember!" Nysa growls as we come up to the board closest to where we're staying for however long we're here.
