Chapter 26 - Everything is getting messy

"Yuana …." Manfred looked at Yuana's face which he put on the screen of his cellphone. With long hair, smiling pretty. Moreover, there was a small mole on his lower left chin.

"Yuana, why are you still so childish? Is it because we are too far apart? Are you really jealous because you really have fallen in love with me?" Manfred said quietly.

"I'd better let you think for a few days. After that I'll talk to you, Yu," said Manfred. He still had work to do in several cities in East Java. In two days, he would leave. Next week he would come back again.

Manfred put down his cellphone and lay down. In his mind, Yuana's beautiful face reappeared. He remembered seeing Yuana for the first time at school, Yuana was so cute. There was nothing in Manfred's heart. Only he admitted, Yuana was beautiful. Manfred was so impressed to her.

Until one time he saw Yuana crying in the back of the class. He wanted to ask but there was a bad feeling. He heard Yuana talking to herself angrily.

"Why am I being given a lot of money, but they don't want to take care of my school? It wanted to receive a school report again, no one can take it. Another meeting ... there is an important business ... Wonder, why do they think money can solve everything? Money can't get the report card." Yuana looked very angry.

Manfred just listened and watched from behind the wall.

"I'm jealous of my friends. They may not have as many things as I do. But every day their moms and dads are at home. Helping when they study, take them for walks. What about me? The home is like a terminal. People come and go without knowing each other. Irritating."

Seeing that pity rose in Manfred's heart. He wanted to be Yuana's friend and wanted to make her smile all the time. Once they got close, Manfred fell in love even more.

"Until now, Yu ... I want to see you smile, always. I just want you to be happy," whispered Manfred's heart.

"Now we're free. You can choose where you want to go. With that young boy? Whatever. Or the old bald one? We've separated. But don't forget, this is my house!" Prastama said to Eva.

"Why didn't I just ask for a divorce from you earlier! Otherwise, I would have been much happier. There's no need to keep fighting with a guy like you!" Eva replied angrily.

Yuana peeked from behind her bedroom door. It seemed that her parents were divorced.

"Oh my God ... what should I do now? I can't live with mom or dad. Because they must have a new partner. And they don't care about me anymore." Yuan rubbed her heart.

"Manfred. Manfred? Is he still madding at me? Yes ... I have no choice. I have to meet Manfred. I can't possibly stay in this house," Yuana thought.

Yuana packed her clothes. She brought only what was needed. One suitcase that was not too big. Some books, high school diploma, and some other necessities.

Then she went downstairs. Her daddy was still there, with her mom in the living room.

"Dad ... Mom ... I'm leaving ..." Yuana said with a sore heart. Staring at their faces. Yuana's heart was beating fast, waiting for the reaction of the man and woman she called mom and dad.

Her parents just looked at her. Yuana slowly walked away from them. Neither of them held her back. True, she was never wanted. It hurt to know the fact. While walking out of the house, Yuana cried. She could no longer hold back her tears.

Yuana arrived in front of Manfred's house. The house looked deserted. Manfred's house was very different. So pretty and beautiful. Through Manfred's success, they got a better life. Manfred could help her parents renovate the house. Moreover, Marvin also got a good job after graduation from college.

Yuana put her suitcase near the table on the terrace, then knocked on the door. Manolita opened the door.

"Yuan?" Manolita was surprised to see Yuana with a puffy face standing in front of her house.

"What is it, honey?" Manolita pulled Yuana in and hugged her.

"Mam …." Yuana cried in Manolita's arms. The woman who Yuana felt became a mother to her. They didn't see each other very often, but Manolita's gentleness always comforted Yuana.

Manolita invited Yuana to sit. She got Yuana a drink.

"What happen, Dear? Tell me," said Manolita.

"Is Manfred here, ma'am?" Yuana asked, holding back the pain that had not subsided in her heart.

"He's still on tour. Three days left. Didn't he tell you? Are you having a problem?" Softly Manolita said.

Yuana hesitated to tell Manolita what happened at her house. She wasn't ready for others to know what she was getting into.

"It's … about my parents." Finally, the words came out of Yuana's mouth.

"Yuana, just be patient, Dear. If you feel bad, you need to talk to someone, come here. You have me, and Marieta, too," said Manolita.

"Yes, ma'am. Thank you," Yuan said quietly.

Manolita invited Yuana to cook for lunch. Yuana was a little comforted to be in the house. But Manfred wasn't there. She couldn't possibly say that she had left her house.

"What should I do?" Yuan thought. She didn't want to disturb Manolita and her family's happiness. Her family had always been kind to Yuana.

"I'd better go. Get away from all this. I can't continue to depend on other people. Manfred has a life of his own. He's enjoying his life now. As for me, every time he's with him it's just a hassle for him." Yuana continued to struggle in her heart.

"Let's eat, Yu. The meal is ready," said Manolita. They started lunch together.

"It's a shame it's just the two of us. Marvin is still working at this hour. Marieta is coming home late this evening. I am often lonely now," said Manolita.

"I see. They have their own busy lives. But they still love you," said Yuana.

"You are right. I am grateful to have good children. This family is blessed with so many blessings." Manolita smiled.

The two of them ate lunch while continuing to talk. After that, Yuana said goodbye.

"Well, you leave, so I'm alone again." Manolita still wanted Yuana stay longer. She knew Yuana wasn't really well yet.

"I'm better now, Mam. Thank you for always being kind to me and loving me." Yuana hugged Manolita.

"Never mind, honey ... I love you." Manolita hugged Yuana tightly.

Yuan moved forward. Manolita intended to take her.

"You don't need to be escorted. I am okay. I know, you still have work to do," said Yuana, quickly restraining Manolita from following her forward.

"Okay. You're fine, Yu. If there's anything, don't hesitate to come with Mother." Manolita begged.

"Yes, ma'am. Thank you."

Yuana left the house. Carrying her suitcase and standing on the side of the road.

"Where am I going now?" Yuana was confused. The road in front was quite busy.

She remembered Bobby. But she couldn't possibly bother Bobby. Lisa was there, with Bobby. It was unfair if suddenly Yuana came to Bobby for a help and bothering their happiness.
