Chapter 18 - Let Bobby Go Freely

"Well, Lisa is afraid to share the room with me. She's never been in a relationship with a man. She likes to be shy to stay around me." Bobby answered with a faint smile.

"So, are you still a pure man?!" Yuana tried not to laugh. Either she found it funny.

"Seriously. Lisa doesn't dare enter my room when I'm in it. She really takes care of herself and respects me." Bobby confirmed.

"Oh ... what a pity newlywed." Yuan chuckled. Bobby just smirked.

"Besides, my heart still looks at you, Yuan. How can I stick with another woman." Bobby was serious again when he said that.

Yuana could understand what Bobby was feeling. And for Yuana even though she could accept this, deep down in her heart, it was hard to let Bobby go with another woman. Her boyfriend already had a life partner. It was still weird knowing all about it.

"Bob, to me you are a hero. It turns out to be for Lisa too. You are an extraordinary man. I am grateful to have been with you. Even though it feels heavy and late, congratulations to you and Lisa," Yuana said sincerely. It was the fact that Yuana had to admit. Bobby was her hero, also Lisa's.

Bobby smiled. The words comforted him. But being a hero, it felt like Yuana's words were too much.

"Now, you have to get another guy. A better one than me. You have to be happy, Yuan." Bobby looked at Yuana.

"I haven't thought about it, Bob. You are still in my heart. I can't do it," said Yuana. "You should be happy with your wife too."

"Lisa and I agreed we were friends, best friends." Bobby continued.

"How can that be? You're already married. After all, you have to love her. You promised when you got married, right?" Yuana frowned at that sentence. It was not nice to say it. But it should be, husband and wife must love each other.

"Yeah ... I have to love Lisa ..." Bobby's eyes looked at Yuana. "Thank you. I know it's hard to say those words. Thank you."

Yuana smiled. Just a little smile, on the corners of her lips.

"Is it clear?" Manfred looked at Yuana.

"What, Fred?" Yuana turned to Manfred.

"About Bobby," Manfred replied curtly.

"He was so poor. Who would have thought that he would live that way? It is so hard." Yuana was still sad to remember Bobby's story.

"But he's strong enough to face it. We should be proud of him. He's not running away from reality," said Manfred.

Manfred and Yuana were in the campus library.

"What did Bobby say when he saw you?" Manfred asked.

"He asked about you yesterday," answered Yuana.

"Then what did you say?" Again, Manfred asked.

"I was telling him what you are. Do you want me to tell you that Manfred is weird now? He likes playing marbles, playing kites. Is that so?" Yuana sneered.

Manfred smiled. "Glad you can joke around again."

"Yeah. I'm so relieved to know everything. Bobby is a hero for Lisa dan me. I feel like I've known Lisa before I even met her." There was relief in Yuana's heart. Somehow, she was able to freely let Bobby go from her life after understanding everything that happened to Bobby. Although it was still not easy.

"How is Yoel?" Manfred asked Yuana's brother.

"Ah, well ... He's getting engaged to his girlfriend, Victoria. It seems that Victoria is the light of Yoel's life. He's changed a lot with Victoria by his side." Yuana's smile was wide when she said that.

"Your mom and dad?" Manfred continued his questioning. He wanted to know the conditions at Yuana's house.

Yuan smirked. "Nothing's changed, Fred. I don't have any hope for them anymore. I just want to finish college and get a job and move somewhere else. Then, I live on my own feet."

Manfred understood very well what Yuana was thinking. If he was in Yuana's position, he would also not feel at home with that kind of family. Having parents it was like they don't exist in Yuana's life.

"So, how about you? How is joining the band?" Replace Yuana who asked.

"Nice. You know I like music, right? Besides, even if I go to college with student fees, it still costs extra for other needs. I think joining a band can help a little bit." Manfred answered excitedly.

"Good, the important thing is to be able to continue pursuing your goals." Yuana widened his lips again, smiling sweetly. "Good luck to your band, Fred."

"Thanks." Manfred smiled too. "Yu, are you hungry? I think I need food."

"Okay. I have class in half an hour. I think it is enough time to get a meal. Come on ..." Yuana agreed.

The two of them left the library and headed for the cafeteria. For about thirty minutes they enjoyed their meal.

"I'll go first. My class starts in five minutes." Yuana turned to her class. Manfred continued on his way to his faculty.

Yuana and Manfred often go to and from college together. Manfred picked up and dropped Yuana. Doing that almost every day, Manfred felt like he was just dating Yuana.

Before entering class, someone grabbed Yuana's arm. Yuana was shocked and turned quickly.

"Joseph?" Yuana frowned.

"Sorry, I want to talk to you about something." Joseph pulled Yuana slightly aside, away from the class.

"Later, class is almost starting," said Yuana.

"This time the lecturer is late. I saw in the parking lot the car hasn't arrived yet," said Joseph urgently.

"Okay. What's wrong?" Yuana relented and heard Joseph.

"I like you, Yu. I want us to go out together." Joseph looked at Yuana seriously.

"What?" Yuana frowned, then smiled.

"Don't you believe me? I'm in love with you." Joseph confirmed his words. He took a step closer to Yuana.

Yuna smiled again and shook her head. "It's not surprising, Jos. You like to spread your charms. You're really cool, you're loved by girls. But sorry, I'm not interested."

"Yuan, I'm serious. I never have this feeling for other girls. It's very different in my heart." Joseph was still persuading Yuana.

"What else?" Yuana said sarcastically.

"You are always in my heart, my eyes, everywhere." Joseph looked at Yuana intently. Usually, when he treated a girl this way, she would melt.

Yuana just glared with wide eyes. "Jos, just keep your feelings to yourself. It only lasts a week or two at most. I am not sure you've ever felt that way before." Yuana left Joseph.

"Yuan, wait ..." Joseph called.

"Don't you listen to me? Just keep your love. Thank you." Yuana smiled, grinning. She entered the class and sat among her female friends. She purposely so that Joseph could not approach her.

"Damn!" Joseph cursed. He entered the class and sat next to his best friend, Rio.

"Hey! Why are you so upset?" said Rio. He looked at his friend's face sharply.
