"Is this too much?" Asked Aera examining his suit, Han Beom stared at him blankly his mind somewhere else, when Aera noticed that he gave Han a smack on his head to bring him back.
"What are you thinking about?" Han blinked few times and when he realized he wasn't focusing at all he stood from his place and excused himself to go and get some fresh air, "you don't have to look this formal, go wear any of your casual clothes, my parents have no plans to judge you hyung" he said before he left.
Aera watched him leave his worries increasing slowly, he knows Han is going through a lot right now with the coming exams stressing him out. But this is a first for him, Han Beom looked afraid more than stressed, he assumes it's because of something happened in school and if it's in school then it's because of someone he now knows well. He sighed while leaning on the wall wondering what to do, on another wall leaned Han his mind once again foggy, all his worries and fears might seem because of what Ho Seok was going to say but it was because he was afraid of the rumors if someone saw Ho Seok's hand on his cheek.
Han touched the same cheek Ho Seok touched but he averted it away, "cold" he mumbled. He stared at the blue sky and started praying what he fears doesn't happen and he'll do his best to not think about it and keep living his life not worrying his mind with those stuff.
"Han?" Called Aera, he stood beside the young man and stared at the same direction he's staring at, "you better tell me what happened so we can deal with it before things get out of hand" he said his voice saying tell-me-or-else but Han doesn't want to trouble Aera with that, it's between him and Ho Seok after all and he's worried if Aera got in the middle of this he'll be the one hurt not him.
He shook his head and turned to give Aera a small smile, "you look better like this. Shall we go?"
Aera was reluctant whether to let this matter go or pressure him more to speak, but he doesn't want things to get bad between them after they finally got close enough to be called brothers and open up more than they were at the beginning, "yea, let's go" plus he doesn't want Han's parents to notice anything wrong between them.
They walked down the streets toward the station each of them quiet unable to start a conversation afraid to get back to square one. When they reached the station they walked by the busy route to their train. Before entering, Han's instincts worked, he pulled Aera in front of him, thanks to the work in the cafe Han was able to get better stamina and a lil bigger body build, Aera didn't notice that until now, the boy started to grow bigger and he owe Haneul a thank you before an apology for what he had done to his lil bro.
Han pulled Aera to one of the seats beside an old lady and he stood in front of him, unable any man from approaching him, he felt that when they were crossing the road to go to the station, a group of eyes were boring a hole on his back and Aera probably felt the same because he looked back few times while holding into him.
The old lady beside Aera talked about a lot of things, while the people around them were bothered by her and her endless talks, Aera and Han were having so much fun listening to her stories. They might find that annoying but for those two it was sweet and had a sense of nostalgia.
They looked at each other and smiled brightly understanding what the other is thinking about. Yea no matter how many times they feel they don't understand each other, in times like this they find their similarities are more than their contradictories. But that good moment didn't last for too long, the same piercing eyes showed up again and they seemed more burning than they were before. They looked around suspecting few eyes but no matter who they looked at the burning isn't the same as the one they're feeling right now, they might even suspect they're not eyes but cameras from how good they're hiding.
Finally the train reached its destination and the two ran out of it to one of the cafés close to it, they waited but no one came out of the gates, they stayed alert until they gave up. Han Beom ordered iced latte and Aera went for coffee, "yuck. Your iced latte is way better"
"Hehehehe, thank you~" said Aera his heart filled with happiness from that sweet complement.
After they finished their drinks they prepared to leave but the same eyes appeared and they jolted, "I feel one" they said at the same time.
Aera ran in a direction and Han ran to the other not knowing what's waiting for them is nothing but disaster. Han Beom ran as fast as he can but the person he's following was faster because of his height, "damn long legs! I'll make sure to ask Haneul to put me in a gym and give me extra work" he mumbled breathlessly his eyes not leaving his prey.
He scoffed at the thought that came to his mind, 'the hunter became the prey', the rules of nature worked brutally once again and pushed the hunter to his dead end.
"Stop right there. I warn you, my size might cheat you but I can send you to the hospital if you dare to do anything funny" he laughed internally at the cheesy line he just said but it felt good to say it and honestly he might consider working as a cop if he'll get the chance to say such lines, time and place have their effects after all!
The man hiding under the hoodie finally revealed his face shocking Han, "what are you doing here?" he mumbled coldly his expression turning as cold as ice scaring the man who was hiding under his hoodie.
