Chapter 103 - Chapter 102: Horrors of Pan's Butcher (III)

"Dead Beast Concerto!" Bones flew from both the corpses of the dead chimeric beasts and the aura of Pan's Butcher. They gathered behind him as he stepped away from the tree, each forming fifty centimeter long, twenty centimeter wide piano keys.

Pan's Wale was now nearing its complete melody, the second main instrument of the piano accompanying before integrating within it as the keys fell and rose in succession, a lavender mist hand pressing down on them.

With that, even Casmere soon lost his reason. Bie was protected by the Cruel Thesis, unable to be deeply affected by the slaughter song due to both already possessing that cruelty and the angelic aura reducing the demonic influence. If Pan's Butcher was even a bit stronger, even Bie wouldn't be able to resist, and the victory would be fully finished.

Bie was pulled from his reverie in time, and the white plus sign pupils rotated in separate flows as he transformed the suction force into nourishment for his suppressive force. Casmere poured out all of his energy as he ripped the tattered cloth off, his skeletal mouth clacking as great artworks that were the result of blurring strokes were formed.

An energy similar to that of the Ethereal Component leaked out of the clattering mouth, and Bie felt quite comfortable. His body greedily slurped up the energy, his own mouth clacking as well as the flickering orbs of the Ethereal cooed in joy, the Yin energy bathing them.

Bie felt like a true undead at this point, though the angelic portion of him responded as well. A winged veil spread before his eyes as the wings folded over each other after enlarging, and the white heatless flames near his feet surged upwards as his bicolored simple bob began to float. The strands wiggled in an arranged dance, and Bie heard whispers from the annoying itch, the angel insignia, and the subservient Component.

He retrieved his duffel bag, before drawing an axe, a spear, greatsword, and a mace, then putting the bag back into his Inner World. The weapons floated by him, though they seemed to be steadily crumbling as Bie's suppressive force was still very much "him", in a way. Though it wouldn't take long for them to be utilized, that was for sure.

An invisible hand flattened several beasts into pancakes, the stronger ones rebelling against the intense pressure. Yet Mountain's Step made the force even heavier, reducing the bones to paste and the viscera to pulp before they were telekinetically thrust into the open air.

A ring of smashed cadavers surrounded the top of Bie like a halo, hanging a meter above the baby blue boy. The unmoving face suddenly formed a devilish grin, and Devil Eating was partially activated as it surged towards the face before being devoured into nothingness for the most part.

Mixed purple rain fell down from the sky as the blood dripped down. The array of the instruments playing Pan's Wale suffused maroon and violet rays, and Pan's Butcher shuffled ever forwards.

Casmere was brought to the ground as the tune sped up, all the mist of the shield diverted to form more hands and vapor that circulated the Pan's Wale. Trees shimmied backwards as their roots slid further away, and the flourishing flowers lost all of their demonic energy as Pan's Butcher withdrew it into his ridged ears.

Bie stepped forward, and so did Pan's Butcher. Adjacent to each other, angelic and demonic energy clashed, though the prior was even crueler, more devilish than the demonic energy could ever hope to be. Their footsteps hit the ground at the same time, the two strangely in tune with each other as both sported a widening grin.

Bie's blue violet lips that shone like diamonds under the moon, his disturbingly alluring beauty offsetting to all whose mind worked in mortal reasonings. They were upended at both sides, forming a crescent just like his eyes, his fine eyebrows crinkled with veiled disgust mixed with exuberance to battle.

The demon with his shivering heart and blood rushing even faster than Bie's. His scars seemed to leak maroon animalistic faces, and he rushed forward with an open palm and a hand brandishing the butcher's knife! Auric hands extending from his aura wielded energy knives as well, all stabbing forward.

Bie's open hand wielded the suppressive force with precision nearing the responsiveness of his limbs. The energy knives were pushed way off trajectory, lining his body as he grabbed the mace and smashed it into the demon's ribs.

Carrying the demon upwards, the mace smashed as he shattered it on the side of his face. The butcher's ear mitigated some of the impact, the hard red jade surface fighting back against the crushing blow as he pivoted, the cleaver cutting a line on Bie's shoulder.

Stepping back so that it wouldn't become a deep crevice, he breathed in and brought out the larger of the axes. It took three vertical swings before it broke, and the shards shot towards the demon and embedded in his flesh, causing each movement to rip and tear as green blood streamed out of his mouth.

A palm overtook the sky in Bie's line of sight as it moved faster than he could perceive in a moment's notice, carrying a Qi filled with fierce and wailing beast faces. The two separated from there, arriving at the position they were at before their first exchange.

The two circled each other, tracing each other's footsteps as they rotated in a meter wide circle. Bie laughed and chuckled, and blue particles began to fill the air as the demon's eyes widened.

The arms hurriedly crossed into a transparent shield as they kept circling. Just in time too, as two of Bie's subjects— ghostly apparitions with serene faces, responded along with Bie's clattering pearly rows as they condensed pills surrounded by rotating images bearing their likeness.

"Release."

The condensed pills smashed into the conjoined hand shield, the "subjects" fading as they poured their everything into the attack. And it showed, two large dents forming and expanding into the shield as Pan's Butcher hurriedly controlled the hands to push them off.

The two pills tore holes in the sky, and some of the bleary light of Morris drifted into the Violet House. The bleak glow lit up the frames of the two, and the demon tutted as he dashed forwards!

The dash was met with the same movement in turn, both filling each other's visions as the desire to slaughter each other filled their heads. Multiple exchanges happened as Bie broke all but Ekulech, using his suppressive force to smash the shards into the demon's attacks.

Unknown to him, changes occurred in his Inner World. As if receiving acknowledgment, energy condensed into shards and formed the images of weapons he had used before. It seemed to want to condense into something greater, but couldn't yet, so it simply dispersed into the black atmosphere of the pitch sky and bided it's time.

Outside, black and dark green blood littered the ground like a gruesome accident. Both sported bruises and cuts, and large gashes explained the chunks of flesh on the ground. Bie's wounds squirmed as his innate regeneration got to work, and the demon's fury seemed to strengthen him as if he were a berserker.

But Smile of the Mountain was the antithesis of berserkers. Smile absorbed all the fresh resentment coming, making the exchanges a battle of attrition. Bie was literally punching above his realm, suppressing Pan's Butcher with each extended blow.

Something had to change, and so the demon's "horns" released a strong auric shockwave, forcing Bie backwards as they separated once again.
