Ulun flung the scientist he held captive to the ground, she herself wriggling towards the nearest canister before squirming up against it, tufts of hair clinging against the metal partition as her body quivered in fear. She hoped against hope that somehow she wouldn't be killed in the resulting scuffle, especially now that she had made it this far.
Meanwhile, a readied Bie settled into a pointed stance as he bent low under the stone pike, one leg stretched low as the toe of the foot faced the ceiling. Uris ran forward, shield in her grasp, and Ulun weaved towards the still Domingo.
"Hey! Heyheyheyheyheyehhhh?" The bladed insides of Ulun's hooks caught nothing but empty air as Domingo first pulled the upper part of his body all the way backwards, and then splayed his body flat in the air as he brought up his legs. His shoes collided squarely with Ulun's shoulder plate, as a surprising amount of force was emitted by his somewhat frail looking body, resulting in Domingo gaining a bit of distance as Ulun had to shift his balance.
Though his woes were quickly compounded on as Uris bumped her tower shield into his suspended form, propelling him towards the ground as if he were a wet rag. Pebbles lined his spine as he then gyrated around, pivoting his body in a full circle before he whirled at the now defending Uris with his legs. Clanks bounced against the wall as the two collided, ramping up in frequency while the shadow of her form was buckling under the blows.
Ulun darted around the two while Bie judged the environment, his eyelids tightening like a vice as he decided to aim for an opening. He was waiting for any opportunity that would arise, as he was quite sure that Domingo's body was most likely able to avoid their joint efforts if they simply surrounded him. That, and allowing the clown-like man under any single one of their arms was most likely an extremely bad idea.
Domingo rolled along the floor in an attempt to worm his way underneath one of the attacking father and daughter's upper limbs, caring not for the small wounds that dotted his face as he scraped past craggy ridges. The abrasions visibly recovered as flesh squirmed in a bout to reconnect, the man himself barely losing any blood as it did so.
The two dodged backwards, arms clutched to their chest each time the tottering shadow so much as neared their arms. The smile became colder and colder with each failed attempt, Doming's eyes freezing over as the mania in his gaze became more evident.
"That's cheating! How do you know about me? Are you stalkers?" Domingo suddenly shot up as he let one of Ulun's hooks tear off his arm, batting it downwards with his remaining hand before the two could register the new change. His form abruptly disappeared before reappearing behind Bie, who had turned around and thrusted his polearm the second he saw the slashed off appendage hurtle under Ulun's outstretched lunge.
A red jet of liquid beat against the upper half of his nose and left eye, the bloody rain spraying from Domingo's mouth as his eyes widened. A pole was struck through his abdomen, a hole shot through his stomach as the blade emerged on the other side, cracks starting to span its length. Before his impaled target could make any more sudden moves, he swung the pole upwards and waved it around before sending it, as well as the body it was snagged into, onto the ground.
Bie then leapt up into the air, his upper limbs held tight as he oriented himself around the confines of Domingo's body (arms notwithstanding). His feet landed on the two smaller blades situated lower than the pike's head, pushing his plated boots down on the weapon as it sunk into the ground.
The battle would've been settled right then and there, if it weren't from an outside factor that none but Domingo was aware of. As his digits grasped the floor, the arm that was not connected to his body waggled a bit before limping. In the distance, a muzzle emitted a dull flash that soon became a laser beam, arcing past Uris and smashing off the top half of the pole that bound him to the ground. Bie was propelled backwards, along with the shattering shaft that hurtled into the sky before weakly falling apart.
Pat! Pat! Tatatatata! The muzzle let out a series of quick flashes as Domingo brought his impaled body up the cracking remains, standing up straight as he dusted his pierced, white lined shirt. The remaining hand wagged a finger as the seven beams nestled around the upper segment of his index finger, rotating along as he clicked his tongue.
A crazed light filled his eyes as his cheery smiled widened, thrusting his finger out seven times towards Uris and Ulun. The beams were launched fiercely with each streak of the sharply streaking index, battering against Uris's shield and somehow being deflected by Ulun's quickly flashing canes.
Domingo let out a low whistle in amazement before fishing out a laser pistol from the inner lining of his lab coat, running past fast enough to dodge a flying kick from Bie in the efforts to flank the sides of the two. Light collided against Uris's tower shield as she angled her grip to protect them both, as Domingo left his arm behind and darted further down the room.
The two exchanged a glance through their helms, dumbstruck for but a moment as they ran after the fleeing man. They both took turns defending from the intermittent shots fired at the, by the backstepping Domingo, while Bie had caught up with them after a minute. A fervid chase had begun, much like the one Domingo had undergone earlier.
He was mere meters ahead of the rapidly approaching trio when he threw out his laser pistol after squeezing its trigger five more times, then wagged his finger as he directed the beams towards three separate buttons on the mouths of the carvings of his face.
Heat filled the room as coursing lava hurtled down the rectangular lengths, the four now running away from the wave of molten rock that threatened to engulf them whole. Sweat shot down all of their backs in unison as radiating licks of heat traced their wake, intent on enveloping all it could see.
Even the female scientist started running, her arms flailing wildly as she accidentally ran over Domingo's arm! The arm fluttered out of existence before reemerging in front of Domingo's face, to which he quickly clasped it and held it tight as he kept running. The woman was unfortunate though, as mere minutes passed before she was caught by the magma.
Her screams were cut off while her nerves melted, melding with first flesh, then bone, then marrow, and then was exposed to the roiling waves as she pooled down into nothingness in the course of seven seconds. The lava was unabated in its pursuit as it kept going, as if it had just snuffed out the life of a mere insect.
Domingo cackled as he ran, his knees pushing up to his chest before pumping downwards in sheer might. He was going to escape!
