Aimee reluctantly brought her hand to meet Domingo's, who readily shook it with both hands, one that he placed over the top of their joined handshake. He then retracted his hand while his eyes widened into saucers, launching into another nonsensical series of word vomit.
"But wait! Don't touch that dial! For the low low price of a loan of that looovely briefcase, you can receive: my dying love and affection! Oops, I mean my briefcase (it has gold Shans in it!)" He finished with a terse whisper, looking around before suspiciously landing his eyes on the trembling scientists, flashing them a hungry smile as he licked his lips.
Then he brought his gaze back to Aimee before reaching out the briefcase, some streams of drool wetting his previously dry chin. The properly clothed scientist furrowed her brows underneath her visor, before exchanging the briefcases with him and weighing it, noticing the jangle caused by the sound that faintly rung.
This was the reason why Shans were in different denominations in the first place, as they each had varying sounds that resounded when they jostled the same colored coin about. It was pretty much impossible for the sound to be mistaken, and Aimee waited for Domingo to actually receive the briefcase she placed in his hands before she would check the contents. Both hands had to undo the clasps, after all.
He leaned in, gave a short curtsy with one hand, and then brought the briefcase to his waist while he pointed forwards, making his way half down the alleyway as the scientists started to follow him, sighing with relief.
Aimee opened the briefcase at the same time, pleasantly surprised to see the golden Shans she was promised clacking together authentically. That was, until she dipped her hands into the piles, turning a heap over to see…
"YOU F*CKING SH*THEAD! YOU DEFACED VALUABLE CURRENCY???" Aimee's skin paled completely white as the smile composed out of various types of teeth imprinted on the lower half of her face, gleaming out rouge streams as she threw down the case in a fit of rage.
As the Shans bounded up, the surfaces revealed a carving of a deep, impressive, artistic rendition of a steaming pile of sh*t. On each and every single piece. After his ruse had been found out, Domingo stood ramrod straight and started booking it, actually walking like a normal person for the first time in the entire encounter.
"It's just business!" He cackled as he ran past, though Aimee was already chasing after him, her red lab coat fluttering as she left crimson streaks in her wake, screaming at him as well.
"WHAT THE F*CKING F*CK IS WRONG WITH YOU! THESE ARE GENUINE COINS??"
"My name is Domingo! Jeez, how could you already forget?!" Streams of tears fell down his rippled auburn eyes as he started prancing, raising his knees to his abdomen while he ran and clutching his face in his hands.
"YOU'RE LITERALLY SO F*CKING STUPID YOU B*TCH*SS DOG LICKING TOILET CRAWLING NUTCASE? WHAT! WHAT!" Her anger spread into an aura that spread outwards as the words 'Level 2 Ragetech' displayed on her visor, beaming past the scientists who threw themselves into the passages nearest to them to avoid death from the two.
The two traced the dingy red walls, not daring to enter the more cleanly patterned areas. Domingo was still running, intermittently hoping over toothy protrusions that ripped past the smudged tiles, narrowly avoiding some by performing the splits and a series of somersaults. The expression on his face was half deadly serious on one side and an crying on the other.
"Hey, that could've hurt! (Yeah, you almost hurt me!)" Two voices emerged from either side of the split, talking almost at the same time. The first was from the serious expression, and the second was from the crying expression who's side of the nose it had was streaming fake novelty snot, which was really slime with sprinkles in it.
"THAT'S THE POINT, YOU *Beep* FACED LITTLE *Beep*, OH I'D TAKE MY WET *Beep* AND YOUR FATHER'S *Beep* AND STICK A PLASTIC *Beep* DOWN HIS *BEEP*HOLE, AND GIVE HIM A UTI, YOU SQUIRREL FACED *BEEPBEEPBEEP*" The level displayed on her visor rose up to four as her red aura bounced across the walls, and she held four bony discs in both of her hands, two each. She then smashed into the floor fist first and planted two of the seeds into the tile, which formed a ridge that shot out of the ground and carried her forward.
And if that wasn't enough, the red imprint gleamed even brighter as her cheeks separated and became toothy fangs, which she brought down onto each other as bites formed on Domingo's tan flesh. For every six bites she made only one or two landed, but she moved with such speed and ferocity that Domingo was quickly covered in wounds.
It wasn't enough to stop him running away, however, as his flesh wriggled before slowly healing. The two were at a stalemate as Domingo out-healed the damage Aimee dealt, his mad two voiced shouting hurtling towards her incensed face once again.
"You're hurting me. (You're hurting my feelings!) You're kind of being an *sshole. (Yeah, you're insufferable!) Can't we talk this out peacefully. (Love and peace, baby!)" He then stopped and turned around before spreading his arms, as if he was waiting for a hug.
What he got instead was a bisection as Aimee's watch turned into a brass blade, cleaving him vertically into two perfect pieces that slumped to the ground, standing a ways apart.
"You betrayed my trust. (No wonder you can't count to five, nehhh!)" The two sides kept babbling as a pained look beset Aimee's fuming countenance as steam literally jetted out from all her face's orifices, which elicited a chuckle from either voice.
Aimee converted the sword back to the watch, the absence of the ticking getting onto her nerves as she saw that Domingo had nowhere to go. She stood above him, getting ready to interrogate him.
But he remained giggling the whole time, each side pushing out gushes of blood with the heave of each individual lung. Aimee shook her head and walked right into the middle of the bodies, hands clenched as she cracked her knuckles.
Domingo's laughs became louder and louder before she approached his head, the wavy chestnut locks sweeping the floor that looked tidy compared to the state his body was in. His eyes then suddenly lost all traces of cheeriness before his voice became unified once again.
The cracked light of a short-circuiting streetlight flashed on right in front of Aimee's face, causing her to trip as her visor didn't actually protect her from flashing lights that were coming in, only the flashing lights that were coming out. It was a faulty piece of tech she carried, and she was going to use the Shans to buy a new pair as well as some other tools.
But the thought could wait, as while Aimee tripped, both of her arms passed over either side of Domingo, who's lips curled so far that they split open as his teeth became exposed.
"Let's see how human you are." That was the last thing Aimee heard from him as his body abruptly disappeared, while her some of the blood coursing through her body imploded towards the center of her abdomen.
She spat out a jet of blood in frustration as she was propelled backwards, tracing a deep gash in the tiles.
"F*ck."
