When I entered the room, Morana was lying on the bed unconscious. Adeline sat beside her chanting softly as she held Mor's hand in her own channeling her magic into Mor.
I wanted to rush to her side, but I refrained, standing at the entrance of the room.
"What happened?" I demanded, my voice tense.
"Is she okay?" My heart was racing with worry.
Her face looked pale. How did she faint?
Felix, who was standing nearby, turned to me, his face etched with concern.
"There is nothing wrong with her, I don't know why she fainted." Adeline replied frowning, "She was just now standing with us laughing and chatting, then suddenly she collapsed."
I stepped inside the room, my eyes fixed on Morana's still form.
there must have been a reason. i gritted my teeth at the thought of why she must have fainted.
There is only one reason. and the thing I have been fearing was that. she must have seen them.
