I stood to my full height, my arms crossed, my gaze fixed on Rivenn who stood across from me. Rivenn stood his ground, his own expression stony and unyielding. Rivenn, though shorter in stature, was no less imposing. His eyes locked onto me, as if daring me to make a move.
My dislike for Rivenn was evident and I made no effort to hide it.
The two of us were locked in a silent battle of wills, each refusing to back down.
I couldn't stand the way Rivenn had been getting closer and closer to Morana. I was fiercely protective of her, and I didn't trust Rivenn's intentions.
I had managed to convince Mor to stay away from Felix using Clara. I was a little guilty of it. As I had lied about Clara being a victim of Felix's love when she is a good friend of mine who agreed to help me out, to keep Mor away from Felix.
I hope she doesn't find out about it.
I have to plan something like that again.
