The rest of the journey wasn't long at all. After the black, sickly, looking stand patches along the ground, Edward hadn't come across anything else around them that seemed threatening. For once, he could finally let out his closed in breath. Seeing as how nervous he was for Dvina's safety, even though it was her who was the master of Demon Nation, seeing as she grew up there, and he hadn't. The many small pebbles and stones edged into his bare feet, painfully, as he tried to keep himself from showing the pain. It would only last another second, and he'd be on nice surface again. And as minuets passed, he was better. The pain had managed. He could feel the light dirt underneath his feet, as he turned from left to right. Suddenly his lungs felt like they were being twisted, and pulled two ways, inside him, as he grunted under his breath. His eyes softened, as he crawled along the ground. Dirt forming along every single edge of his palms. His pale face and rosy lips, seemed to dim, as his lips felt cracked and dry.
On his knees he was almost sure he could get some of the tightness to relive him, if he could only get his unleashed form to obey him again. The sound of the inky, rubber, costume annoyed him as he tried to move, but relived he was still wearing it. Last thing he needed was to be found naked by some demon who happened to be walking by? Or to be eaten alive by a rapid animal. He twisted his hands slowly, as his eyes picked a spot on the ground, to stare at. He couldn't bring himself to turn away from that spot, as piercing sounds of ringing, interrupted him. Storming and stabbing at the inside of his ear, as he cried. The pain only worsened as his teeth seemed to tighten as fell as the twisting still around his lungs.
''Dvina? Where are you…. tell me your alright…. please…'' He tried to whisper. With his condition his voice was almost impossible to make out as even a whisper. ''This can't be the way my journey ends, I haven't saved Barron yet…. I haven't saved my brother!'' His voice was much shaper, angrier, this time around. As he lifted his head up, his eyes staring into the empty, dark, black hole, that was the sky.
''I haven't saved my brother yet; I cannot die yet! I cannot!'' He shouted into the heavens. The pain only worsened the more action he tried to do, which only seemed to weigh heavily down upon his head. His brain felt like squash, as he tried to keep his thoughts alive. Brain dead, and in horrible pain, he found himself lying motionless, in a large patch of long black grass. How he'd gotten into the patch of tall grass, he wasn't sure, but there didn't seem to be any point to consider any of his ware bouts. For in seconds, he'd be blinded.
Unable to see what him was around. The sight of his own hand placed out right in front of his face, he'd be unable to even see. Gasping for more oxygen was the last and finale stage, till he figured it out. Figured out his death was near. No way could he try to get out of it…...All those others, were just others. No more was he going to get another chance to be spared. This was it...
Although as his single, last sliver tear, slipped down from the corner of his eye, and down his cheek, he could feel his heart starting to rip apart, as he saw his brothers friendly, loving face. The touch of his own hand, his own warmth, pressed against his forehead, as he laid himself still, frozen, and chilled to the bone, as the brightest light loomed over him. His face beaming with the same light, as heaven came to collect him.
Who would've ever guessed his story would've ended so soon? So short, so darling, so treasured, yet pulled away way to soon. The hero of the story, the title would not be his.

How he wished at that last moment, he'd taken his time. Taken his precious time, to think it over. To think it over with himself, how he was going to die. Make sure he was professionally prepared. Although, as afraid as he was just then, he found the fear melt away, as bright sunshine, melted. Pulling its embrace over his face...
His small, baby face...
