Chapter 10 - Chapter Ten

The bell rang seconds later, which mean't all students were free to leave to go home. Mostly every students favorite time of the day, home time. Although, the classroom wasn't quiet empty this time. Not like it usually was most days. Something about today, something about today, just seemed different. Special somehow. The desks and chairs were stacked nicely, in the corner of the room. The desk and tables all in a neat pile, while the chairs were stacked into nearly piles of two. Each separating the brown ones from the blues. Although, in the corner of the room. Just inches from the only open window in the entire room, sat one lonesome young boy. Sitting quietly still in his chair, even though all his classmates had gone, minuets ago. Why was he still there? Why wasn't he going home? Well, even his teacher seemed to wonder that herself, as she walked over to his desk. Staring down at a bit pile of papers, scattered around the boy's desk. Not even a single piece of paper, could be angled well enough to even make out the surface wood of the boy's desk. For the large amount of papers, took up all the room.

''Kal, you know its home time, don't you? You can get up and go home now?'' She quietly told him, a smile on her face, as she seemed to be trying not to scare the young boy. Kal, who suddenly made out her voice, pulling himself from his daydream, slowly turned his head. His emerald eyes finding her, followed by a smile.

''Oh, I know!'' He responded happily. ''I just had some last minuet things to do, for this draft.'' He said, pointing his light pale fingers to the pieces of paper laid out in the middle of his desk. His teacher made a questionable expression, before narrowing one single eyebrow. Guessing to herself what kind of draft called for so many pieces of paper, lined and lined with so many black texts and words.

''Is this for your yearly assinsment? For you presentation?'' She guessed.

''Exactly! I want to make sure its perfect, when I share it with the class.'' Kal smiled through his rosy, red, blushed cheeks.

''What's on your draft so far? Do you mind explaining it to me, I can help make it perfect?'' Asked the teacher.

''Of crouse! I'd love to explain it to you, I'm so happy you asked!'' Kal practically jumped up in his seat, as he reached through all the different kinds of papers, till he found the one he was looking. The one labeled in black market, ''page one.'' And began reading his draft to his teacher.

''Aaron Channing was so close to the stage in front of him, he could feel the cool chills of it brushing past his feet, as he tried to relax himself. He was cold to the touch, even he could feel it, as for the nerves swimming through his entire body. The side of his face was burned, and the side of his solid ice skin had been shattered, leaving behind a giant hole where the surrounding ice had started to melt. That was one of the abilities of a cold one.....''
