After waking up from my rest I decide to go on the top deck of the ship to get some air but I stop climbing the stairs when I see three Englishmen talking at the top of the stairs. After they move from the top of the stairs I try to follow them but lose track of them after they walk around a corner as I start to look for where they went I feel a heavy impact on my back that sends me stumbling to the ground after which I hear someone say
"Oy boss I thumped him good you was right he tried to follow yous without watching his back"
After the first man finishes talking I manage to turn around and see three men standing around me, two big thugs one of which is missing his left ear and a really snooty looking man with a huge walrus mustache along with a big top hat, all of this being made funny by the fact that he is only about five foot threeI chuckle and say "hello Captain Ashley Pitt " I say while he has a Webley Bulldog leveled at me
"It's Major now Kian Vos and I'm surprised that you're still alive especially after I dropped that artillery strike on you head but it looks like i improved your looks"
As Pitt finishes his joke his goons and him start laughing their asses off so I leap to my feet and strike Pitt in the stomach making him stumble to the ground then I throw a palm strike into the nose of the goon with the missing ear but right as I start turning towards the third goon he hits me in the back with a club knocking me down and giving them time to pin me against the railingWhile I am pinned to the railing Pitt levels his revolver at me and says "Well Kian that wasn't very nice so I guess I'm going to have to shoot you and then Jackson and Smith are going to toss you overboard "
Right as he cocks his revolver at my stomach I kick him in the wrist causing him to shoot me in the left shoulder while the goons shove me off the edge of the ship right into the ocean
Right as I sink under the water I hear a woman's voice in my head as if to my very soul "THE SPIRIT OF A TRUE HUNTER BURNS DEEP WITHIN YOU I CANNOT LET A MAN SUCH AS YOU FALL TO COWARDS SUCH AS THOSE MEN" after the voice finishes speaking I see a tan skinned woman appearing in front of me I'm the water wearing an ancient looking dress who then grabbed me in a hug which elimates the cold and then somehow I could breath just before I passed out to the woman smiling down at meI regain consciousness in my cabin AGAIN and see Ming sitting on his bunk reading a book about birds which he puts down when he sees me awake he says "Welcome back to the land of the living hunter it's practically a miracle you survived all of that"
"Yeah a miracle you bastard you knocked me out"
"It was necessary to give you the skills to defend yourself better but I can see you are upset so I'll leave you alone for a while especially so you and your new lady friend can get to know each other better mostly because she keeps threatening to disembowel me like a fish""Lady friend" I say slightly confused to which he points out that I've been laying in someone's lap for the entire conversation and I see that it's the mysterious woman who I saw in the ocean looking down at me with a knowing smile as if she knows exactly what I'm thinking right now
After Ming leaves the room the woman carefully sits me up and sits at the end of the bed crossing legs and says "Hello master I am Tiamat but you may call me Tia if you like"
"Hello Tia and while I appreciate being rescued I must ask how did you rescue me like that it was as if you made air underwater "
"I understand the need for answers you humans have strived for millenia to find the answers to life itself and to answer your question I am a Djinn and you are my master""If you are a Djinn does that mean that you will grant me 3 wishes or something like that"
"I can but be warned that the specifics of your wish are absolute" Tiamet says with authority in her voice
"Well I was always told not to trust magic and was told a man should work hard for everything he has otherwise he gets lazy"
Tiamet asks me looking confused "So what do you wish to do then Master "
I think on it a moment and ask "What would you like to do with your own life of you had the choice"
She answers "I would like to explore this new land you are traveling to as I've been sealed for around six thousand years "
I ask "Well I have a proposal if you would like to hear"" I am listening " she says folding her hands in her lap looking at me intently
"I am going to be traveling this country fairly extensively and if you are interested you could come with me as my traveling companion and if you accept I will give you an equal share of any money or supplies I have"
Tia thinks for a minute and says " I accept your proposal master"
After hearing her confirmation I say " I wish for you to be free" after which she jumps across the bed and kisses me on the lips while giving me a tight hugAfter letting me go Tia spreads her palms and after a small spark jets of white flame ignited on her hands and spread down her arms to her shoulders which she then gathered into a ball and collapsed with her hands leaving multicolored smoke that smells like mint everywhere in my cabin
"Thank you for my freedom Master I look forward to our adventures "
After Tiamet finishes speaking I hear someone shout "Now docking at New Orleans all ashore who's goings ashore"
