Once inside the room, Li Jing and Serlina both took their seats.
They faced each other, staring in contemplation for a while before Li Jing chuckled and broke the ice.
"I really didn't expect to run into you in this situation."
On hearing this, Serlina smiled and responded.
"Could you explain the situation to me? I am a bit lost."
"It's a long story."
Li Jing started explaining with a laugh.
"First, tell me, how much of the inside information did Jester share with you when he called you here?"
"I'm aware of the secret research on Artificial Humans at the Desert Fortress."
Serlina replied.
"But I don't know all the details, just what was revealed online today."
"Hmm."
Li Jing nodded, unsurprised by this.
