Elder Jared sat at his desk, watching his daughter out of the corner of his eyes in a manner he hoped was subtle enough not to aggravate her.
Vivienne scanned through the shelves of books in his office, her expression difficult to decipher.
She had been at it for about twenty minutes already and Elder Jared had to wonder what exactly it was that she searched for so intently.
Elder Jared would not usually be so interested in his daughter's activities and was more than willing to let her do as she pleased, but things were much different now... Vivienne was much different.
