"Wh... What? What did you just say?" Sophia asked with her wide eyes.
"You heard him right! He is engaged." Becky answered making Sophia's head snap at her.
"What? To whom? When? How? Why didn't I know then? Why didn't you at all tell me about this?" Sophia asked.
"I do think, It's none of your business to know about my life. As you said, You and I have parted lives. It's our wish with whatever we do with our lives! Isn't it?" Asher asked.
"But... I... Who..." Sophia stuttered.
"What's wrong, Sophia?" Becky asked and Sophia took a deep breath.
"When did you got engaged?" Sophia asked.
"I don't have to say you about my life, Sophia. As I said, it's none of your business!" Asher answered.
"So... You are going to marry soon too?" Sophia asked.
"Yes." Asher answered.
"When?" Sophia asked and Asher raised his eyebrows at her without answering anything to her, making her know that, she doesn't really have to know anything about his life.
"He just said that, it's none of your business, Sophia. Don't you understand?" Becky asked.
"Why are you coming between us when I am talking with my husband?" Sophia asked and Becky laughed.
"He is your ex-husband if you forget it!" Becky answered making her sigh.
"Fine. You really don't want to tell me?" Sophia asked as she looked at Asher and he shook his head in no.
"Can you tell who is she at least?" Sophia asked.
"She... She is someone who knows how to care about a child. How to know about what a child feels. She is someone who cares about your daughter. Who loves her." Becky answered making Sophia frown at her and then she turned around and looked at Asher.
"You will know soon about her." Asher replied making her sigh.
"Alright. But, I want to see my daughter before I leave... Lily..." Sophia said and called Lily as she took a step forward but Asher grabbed her wrist and made her stand in front of him.
"I already told you that you have no right to meet her without my permission!" Asher replied.
"You are here and you know that, I am here to meet with my daughter. What else I should ask you?" Sophia asked.
"You never asked me if you can meet my daughter till the time I have stood here, Sophia." Asher answered with a stern voice making her take a deep breath.
"Alright. Can I meet my daughter, Asher?" Sophia asked as she looked at Asher with her stern face.
"No." Asher answered making her frown.
"What? Why?" Sophia asked.
"You can't meet her. That's it. Leave now." Asher said.
"Asher, you can't do this to me." Sophia replied.
"I can and I am doing it. You can't meet my daughter now. So, leave." Asher said.
"No. I am not leaving from now until I meet Lily." Sophia replied and Asher immediately grabbed her wrist and started to walk towards the main door. Sophia tried to release herself but Asher's grip was so tight on her wrist.
"Get lost from my home and next time, Don't you dare walk into my home without my permission." Asher yelled as he pushed her outside his mansion making her angry.
"Asher... How dare you do this? You can't just kick me out like this." Sophia yelled.
"I can and Don't you dare raise your voice in front of me. Better know your place and get lost from here." Asher yelled back and closed the doors on her face.
He walked inside immediately and was about to walk upstairs when he saw Lily walking down the stairs and he saw tears in her eyes.
"Lily." Asher called as she slowly walked down from the stairs.
"Lily... Come here, Sweetheart." Becky said as she walked towards them and Lily walked towards them both and stood in front of Asher.
Asher got down on his knees and hugged her tightly.
"Do you hate me?" Asher asked as he cupped her face in his hands making Lily frown.
"Why will I, Dad?" Lily asked.
"You just saw... What happened... Right?" Asher asked.
"Yes. But, I don't hate you for this. I can and I will never hate you. I know, Mom is a troublemaker and you don't like her at all... And... I don't like her too. I want to stay with you, Dad and Mom Ivy." Lily answered a small smile spreads on Asher's face and he nodded his head in yes.
Becky smiled as she heard that she doesn't like Sophia at all which made her relax.
"Did you had your dinner?" Asher asked and Lily nodded her head in yes.
"Then, why were you sleeping yet?" Asher asked.
"I was sleeping when I heard shouting from downstairs." Lily answered.
"Umm... So sorry about that. Come on, Let me get you to bed now." Asher said and Lily smiled as she jumped with excitement.
Asher smiled and took her in his arms as he nodded his head at Becky making her nod back at him.
Asher took her upstairs to her room and laid her on the bed. He started to pat her.
"Dad..." Lily called making Asher nod his head at her.
"Do you like, Mom Ivy?" Lily asked suddenly making Asher blink his eyes at her.
"Huh? Why are you asking me this right now?" Asher asked.
"I just want to know if you like her or not?" Lily asked.
"Lily, I didn't tell you but... Ivy and I are going to get married soon." Asher Answered.
"Really?" Lily asked.
"Yes. Didn't grandma told you?" Asher asked and Lily shook her head in no.
"Well... She might thought to suprise you. But, we are going to get married soon and she will be your mom from now on. I mean, a real mom." Asher said making her smile brightly.
"Yayyy... Thank you so much, Dad." Lily replied and hugged Asher tightly and kissed him on his cheek.
"You know... I am so happy right now. I know, You like Mom Ivy." Lily said as she giggled and Asher nodded his head with a smile.
"So, now... You should sleep. We will talk tomorrow. Okay?" Asher asked and Lily nodded and Asher started to look at her cute little face until she doze off to her dreamland.
