The entire Wu Family was now adorned with white banners, and in the central courtyard, a grand memorial hall had been erected. Inside the memorial hall lay a fine nanmu coffin, in which Wu Yingxiong lay.
The Family Head, Wu Yingxiong's father Wu Jianxiong, stood before the coffin, silently gazing at the black and white photograph of Wu Yingxiong; the man had aged more than a decade in appearance, his head full of white hair, his face solemn and showing no sign of emotion.
A middle-aged man clad in white hurriedly walked in.
"Family Head, Jin Quan has let that young man go," he said.
"Why?" Wu Yingxiong's voice sounded, low and deep.
"I don't know, but when I tried to contact Jin Quan, his phone was turned off, and I couldn't reach him; no one else at the police station could be reached either," the middle-aged man spoke indifferently.
