Then she washed all the remaining vegetables and peeled them. The washed cabbage leaves were pealed one by and soaked in the salted water. Until the rice become little cooked, she cut the carrots, green beans, mushrooms and shallots and divided them into two portions. Then she chopped some garlic and ginger and divided them into three potions. Once the rice got a little cooked, she added the one portion of each chopped and cut vegetables and pinch of salt to at let it simmer.

All the while she didn't stop humming a little tune and twirling around kitchen. With the excitement and happiness in her heart Wang Xin Yi felt like cooking was also some kind of great thing. For the first time other than when Long Yi Chen was returning home from his business trips, Wang Xin Yi made food with giddy anticipation.

With all those feelings she put another pan to stove with some oil and let it get heated. Breaking the only remaining egg in the house, she beat it with a chopstick and added some pepper, chili flakes, salt and chopped onions. Then she poured the egg mixture to the pre heated pan to make stir fried eggs.

Time to time she checked whether the porridge is cooked or not and give it a stir by the way. Then she drained the salted water from the cabbage leaves and left it aside. To make the filling for the stuffed cabbage Wang Xin Yi stir fried some shallots, garlic, ginger first. Once they become golden brown she added the leftover potion of carrots, green beans, mushrooms and green onions. Stir frying them together she also added some vinegar, soy souse and a pinch of salt to bring some flavor.

After letting the stir-fried filling get cooled off a little, she filled spoonful of mixture to the cabbage leaves. Then she wrapped the leaves around mixture. Finally, she packed the filled cabbages into a bamboo steamer and steamed them a little.

She filled her flower bucket with water and watered her plants it her balcony and tidied up the house. Then she placed the chopstick and bowls in the dinner table. To wash off the smell from all the cooking she did Wang Xin Yi left get a bath.

Coming out of the bath Wang Xin Yi checked the time.

"There is some time left till Chen comes home. I better complete my homework before he comes. Then I can spend some time lone with him after dinner." Wang Xin Yi thought to herself happily.

She brought over her books and pens to the living room and set them up on the stool beside the old couch. Sitting on the floor she started completing the homework she had gotten from university.

But she wasn't able contain the excitement inside her heart. She can't wait to share the good news with him. Hence, she checked the time for every ten five minutes.

Sitting in the floor she wasn't able to concentrate properly. Remembering the stuffed cabbage and vegetable porridge in the stove Wang Xin Yi decided to check them out. Standing up she intended to go to the kitchen.

Suddenly, Wang Xin Yi felt like the room is shaking. Her head felt dizzy. She gripped the stool hardly to stop falling down to the floor. Shaking her head a little, she tried to sit down in the couch. Wang Xin Yi felt her heartbeat speeding and stuffy. Her head paining like got beaten by a hammer. Her breath becoming labored. She tried to calm herself down.

"I got this. I'm fine. I'm okay." She mumbled to herself inhaling few deep breaths.

After sitting down and calming down her racing heart she felt a little better. But the headache didn't go away immediately. Her face became pale and sweat ran down her forehead.

Abruptly, she heard the clicking sound of the door lock. Wang Xin Yi looked toward the door and saw the door being opened slowly.
