Chapter 1 - POV Raka: Always Beauty

"Raka!" That very loud exclamation was not difficult for my two senses to grasp. I didn't have to turn to the source of the voice to know who had called my name.

"Your baby is calling!" whispered Laskar beside me. Just like me, Laskar and Irza don't need to turn around, they already know that the one who is currently calling my name very loudly is a woman who has always been the top priority in my life. Who else if not, Aurora Bilqis Paramitha.

I then turned around to look at the woman who was currently jogging towards me, closing the distance between us. I just stood still, waiting for the girl who was called Rara every day to come to me.

It's not that I don't want to approach him, but I've been drained of energy during gym class a few moments ago.

Even after this, I have to lead the student council meeting to prepare for the sports and arts week at SMA Nusantara Bakti. I really have to maintain my energy.

"You go first, then I'll follow." Irza and Laskar seemed to compact their heads with up and down movements of the head.

It was more than enough for me to understand that the two of them could understand my words as best they could.

"Why, Ra?" I asked the woman who had peerless beauty. How could I not assume that Rara's beauty is incomparable.

Sometimes I just forget how to blink when I see the beauty that radiates from every curve of her face.

"Come with me to the bookstore tonight, okay?" The request that was said by Rara then made both the bases of my shoulders slump down without warning first.

If I was asked to choose between accompanying Rara to the salon or to the bookstore, I would say out loud that I should just take Rara to the salon.

Maybe Rara knows that right now I'm considering what answer I should say as a form of rejection of her desire so she displays her puppy eyes, that's why Rara always knows what my weak point is.

Responding to what Rara is currently doing, I can only roll my eyes lazily. "I give up! Don't see me like that, Aurora Bilqis Paramitha!" I warned her.

"So?" asked to emphasize what my answer was.

"I agree, but I just dropped you, okay?" Rara doesn't necessarily agree with what I want, she seems to be thinking about something that I don't even know where her thoughts are going at this time.

But whatever it is I really hope it's something that doesn't weigh me down.

"But the pick-up must be on time, how?" Without any second thought, I agreed to Rara's wish.

"Call me when you want to go home?" I again made an offer to Rara and this time she immediately agreed without thinking twice.

"Yes, remember that the pick-up must be on time!" Rara again warned me to pick her up on time, and it didn't seem like a difficult thing for me to do.

"Yes, Princess Aurora Bilqis Paramitha." A very sweet smile then appeared very beautifully on Rara's face. Her dimples add to the light of beauty that Rara has.

"Promise?" said Aurora while pointing her index finger at me, I then greeted her and now my index finger and Rara's index finger have locked each other.

"You're in class, do you want the bell too? Or do you want me to take you?" The offer I gave was then flatly rejected by Rara.

"I can do it myself." She replied with a smile that was still tugging on his luscious lips at this time. I couldn't do much except accept what Rara said through a nod of my head and a smile that I smiled.

Rara walked with her two long legs bringing herself to her class which was only 2 classes away from mine.

"Always beautiful," I muttered when my eyes could no longer reach Rara.

I, Raka Yudha Juliardo, are one of the most respected figures at SMA Nusantara Bakti. If you think that I am respected because I am the son of the owner of this foundation, I can confirm that what you think is a mistake.

They feel disdain for me not because of that, but because of the position I'm currently holding, what else if not the position as student council president. Done there? Of course not. Then what else made the entire Nusantara Bakti submit to me? The answer is that I am the chairman of Oscar Geng, a motorcycle gang which is the number one motorcycle gang in Jabodetabek.

Friendship is the death price, that's the main motto of the Oscar Gang, where I and its 249 members seek shelter to find our identity. After Rara was no longer reachable by my two eyes, I decided to bring my two long legs to my class.

"Are you done with your baby?" The question, of course, was none other than Jericho Naufal Gunadi--the deputy chairman of the Oscar Gang.

It's been too clear that after me, who is the second most respected person in the Oscar Gang circle? Yes, it was clear that person was the man who was currently sitting in my chair with all forms of arrogance lodged in him. Hearing what Jeri asked--she is called every day, I can only roll my eyes very lazily.

"What do you want to do here?" I asked without wanting to mince words with one of the most abstract creatures I've ever known.

"It's okay, Ka. Should I explain in detail anyway?" I just rolled my eyes lazy when I heard what Jeri said.

"Physics and Chemistry!" He said as he held out his hand to me. That's him, the label is just a Science 1 student, but the contents of his brain are the same as that of a Science 5 student.

However, the title as the son of the owner of the foundation at this school is what most supported Jeri to sit in the Science1 class. As the next heir to the throne of the Gunadi Group, Uncle Naufal seems to have been preparing for it from the start.

"Here," I said, handing him two notebooks containing the assignments I had been working on for Jeri to copy and paste. Jeri is indeed a person who is given a decent predicate in terms of intelligence, but for a solidarity Jeri is a person who cannot be underestimated.

"You understand the most, Ka." I just cleared my throat at what Jeri said, I'm used to it.

"Ka, how long do you want to continue like this Rara?" The chuckle that came from Irza's luscious lips suddenly caught my attention.

Irza Adisankara Rianto, compared to Jeri and I, both of us are nothing if it already carries the name of Irza, the fighter commander of the Oscar Geng.

Irza is the first child of Dirgantara Rianto and Zaskia Azzahra Khumairah. The next candidate for leadership from Angkasa Group. Who doesn't know the conglomerate couple, but Irza always hides the label from himself so that throughout Nusantara Bakti only a few people know that Raiden is a potential successor to the throne of the Angkasa Group business empire.

"What do you mean by that?" It's not that I don't understand what Irza said, but I'm lazy to answer that question, because I don't even know where my relationship with Rara will end up.

"Rara is a girl. And what a girl needs in a close relationship is reassurance." I exhaled very roughly when I heard what Irza said.

I don't want to deny it, because it's a fact that can't be denied. "Is it so hard to say I Love You to Rara?" One hand then went up to gently massage the bridge of my nose when I heard Laskar Putra Sanjaya.

Title Sanjaya said behind the Laskar name was more than enough to confirm which family the Laskar belonged to. Laskar is the son of Rafli Putra Sanjaya, a confidant of the current number one leader of the Gemilang Group and Syafa Putri Alamsyah, a lawyer whose name is quite popular nowadays as a civil lawyer.

Talking about Gemilang Group, Aurora Bilqis Paramitha is a candidate for leadership of the company engaged in the construction sector. Rara is called everyday as the daughter of Adi Surya Dimitri and the late Mentari Chamissya Damayanti.

"If there weren't any dividing walls in the way then that would be a very easy thing for me to do."

"Don't worry, Ka. The match is in God's hands." Hearing what Jeri said, my lower jaw opened very wide. This time I really want to devour this human in front of me.

"You can use your brain when you talk, can't you?" I asked with an annoyed chuckle at a human of this species like Jeri.

"Precisely because the mate is in God's hands, it is impossible for me and Rara to be together." There was a harsh gasp that escaped my mouth when I said that to the three Oscar Gang leaders who were near me.

"My God and Rara are already different, then in what way are we united?" Jeri, Irza, and also Laskar could only keep silent at what I just said.

"Besides, I'm not that brave to take Rara from her God. You all have to remember this, faith is the most basic thing in a relationship, if we are different, then what will happen in the future?" None of my three best friends wanted to challenge what I just said.

I paused a bit before rephrasing the thoughts that were running through my mind.

"The prayer beads in Rara's hand can't be together with my rosary. That's the difference we have, guys."

"If God unites people with love then why does he separate them through differences?"

I just shrugged my shoulders when I heard the question that was being asked by Irza, I didn't even know the answer to that question.

"Well, between the Istiqlal Mosque and the cathedral church that separates it, it's just a road. It's just a road." Now it was the Laskar's turn to answer Irza's words.

"I still don't have the courage to take Rara from his God, Man. And I also can't possibly leave my God for Rara."

"For me, being able to see Rara from afar is more than enough. That way I can love as much as I want." I added with a smile that I gave even though it was only a thin smile as thin as a thread.

"It's your choice, man." The words that were uttered by Irza were probably words that also represented what was going on in the minds of Laskar and Jeri.
