Chapter 7 - POV Irza: Only Requires Selection

"I--"

"I'm just asking yes or no, Za. I'm just asking you to choose, not asking for your explanation." For this time I really feel uncomfortable with Aiden and all his words.

I seemed to sigh very roughly, maybe the time I harbored these feelings for Rara had almost entered its expiration date.

"If I like--"

"Wow, it turns out that Irza Adisankara Rianto is the greatest silent love. Since when?" For this time I really want to devour the man who is currently looking at me full of happy twinkles, the only sincerity I can catch from Aiden's two sensitive black eyes.

"I'm not done talking, Den." Hearing what I just said, Aiden couldn't help but stare at me with a questioning gaze.

"So?" Hearing what Aiden just said I just rolled my eyes in disgust.

"If I like and I don't like Rara, what response will you give?"

This time it's my turn to stare at Aiden with a gaze that's almost similar to the gaze of a hungry lion and Aiden is a prey that I would love to miss.

"If so, I will be on the front line for you." One of my eyebrows suddenly raised when I heard what Aiden just said.

"And if not?"

"I will also be at the forefront of making you two fall in love with each other." This time I really feel that Aiden's brain stimulation is in a state that is not fine.

"Your concussion, huh?" Aiden just shook his head faintly when he heard what I just said.

"You like Rara, Za. The eyes are the light of the heart and feelings of the heart never lie." I took a deep breath when I heard what Aiden said.

"But Rara likes me or not?" Maybe my question can be said when I choose to step back and admit all the feelings that are raging in my mind for Rara.

"Raka?" I chose to ignore what Aiden guessed this time.

"Recognizing it or not, Rara and Raka are a couple who will never get the blessing of the universe. Their barrier is so high and sturdy. We all know that." I don't know what to say to what Aiden said, because what he said was the real truth.

"But what if someone sacrifices?" That's the only possibility that makes the most sense in my mind right now. Between Rara and Raka there must be a sacrifice.

"No one has sacrificed. Daddy can't possibly bless Rara and Raka. Because dad has often told Rara, don't hug someone who doesn't want to be hugged." Aiden explained with great emphasis on me.

"Then Raka? No one knows, maybe he wants to convert to the religion that Rara adheres to, right?" At what I just said, Aiden shook his head very firmly.

"The closest to Raka is you, not me. How can you forget the most basic thing about Raka." My forehead then frowned when I knew where Aiden's current conversation was going.

"Uncle Aaron, Raka's father, is a priest. Will he easily let Raka go to embrace the same belief as Rara? Please Irza, if you have a little brain, why not use it?" My tongue is really dry now.

I can no longer deny what Aiden said. But that doesn't mean it can hurl me into the clouds. No, absolutely not.

"Love is fought for, not suppressed like this." I just kept quiet and didn't give any response to what Aiden said. Until the end.

"Irza, are you here?" That';s the mother whose appearance made Aiden jump a little surprised.

"Why, Mom?" I asked my mother with a facial expression that I made as serious as possible.

"You brought this to Rara, didn't you? Mommy made Rara's favorite beef stew." Hearing what was said I then brought my eyes to look at Aiden.

"This is Aiden, Mom. Why not Aiden?" I do this of course to maintain the level of prestige in me.

"Tsk! Prestige is increased, love is suppressed." Hearing what Aiden said, Mommy could only shake her head at that.

"Aiden, Uncle Badai is waiting for you downstairs." Now I understand why Mommy didn't leave her cooking to Aiden because my cousin will be staying at Uncle Badai's house which is not far from my house.

If it's like this, then I have to intervene directly to deliver it to Rara, my mother's dear niece.

"Yes," I answered very briefly.

"You don't have to be so sluggish, do you like delivering stews for her?"

"Stupid!" I said while hitting Aiden with the bolster pillow on Dirka's bed.

"Za, Rara is only human. She is not a psychic who can read your mind without you expressing it through words. Rara is not that powerful, Za."

I can only rub my face roughly at what Aiden said, but unfortunately I'm too cowardly to express what I'm feeling right now with Rara.

Of course the feeling of fear of rejection is the feeling that is currently churning in my mind.

"Dear Brother Aiden Pramasatya Dimitri, I remind you, yes, maybe you forgot. Fatimah Azzahra and also Ali bin Abi Talib only harbored feelings for each other, but in the end they were able to be together until death do them part."

"But you are only two end-time humans who are trying to learn to be pious and pious. You are not as noble as Fatima and Ali. If you hold onto this feeling all the time, then what do you really expect?"

"You don't understand, Den. Oscar Gang is a death prize for me and about betrayal, don't expect it to be found easily in me."

"It's really hard to talk to model stones like you. Rocks!" That's the curse Aiden gave me.

It's not that I don't dare to ignore it, it's just that I'm saving my energy because tonight I still have a routine monthly social service meeting schedule with the Oscar Gang.

"Yeah, okay, I'll say goodbye first." I could only nod my head when I heard what Aiden said.

I didn't have the slightest intention of holding back this time. Aiden then stopped his steps when he almost reached the door of Dirka's room.

"Anything missing?" I asked shortly after Aiden turned around.

"The stew that Auntie Zaskia made, you bring to the house, not even in front of the alley."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes lazily when I heard what Aiden said.
