The next day Xai wakes up thrilled knowing in just several hours he would meet his little run away Vixen again. It made him statisfied knowing that she would be shocked and he couldn't wait to see look on her face when he walks through her doors. He thought of all the reactions she would have and wondered what would her next move would be. He was even more thrilled knowing that her father Mr Addeleine moved the meeting to her house and changed the time for brunch which would be at 11am. He looked in the mirror and was satisfied with his grey suit and black tie he picked out. He looked closer at himself in the mirror and decided he would shave before he would head out the door. He had a mission to get three things before he would head over to see Calley….. 1. Wedding agreement 2. Flowers 3. Wedding Ring. He quickly shaved his face put some after shave on and then looked in the mirror again. He doesn't usually care how he looks this amuses Xai at his newly added behavior that he has developed since meeting her. Maybe it's because she left without saying goodbye most girls would have stayed….so maybe it's the thrill of the chase he thought to himself. Then he remembered every details from her body to all her different smiles. This Calley Adeleine is definitely different from other girls. In his eyes nobody compares to her in every aspect. She's definitely one of a kind smiling at that thought "Just you wait, Calley Adeleine, you will probably be shocked " he said under his breath while heading out the door.
Sitting in her parents dining room Calley anxiously waits for her future husband to arrive as she plays with her mother's flower arrangement sitting on the dining table. She sighs and leans back on her parents sofa. She wonders what this stranger will look like and is he a good person that her father chosen for her to spend the rest of her life with. Even if this is like a business arrangement she wishes to later on fall in love with this man just like her parents did. Would he be a typical snobby elite? She then thinks of Xai….. Although she knows he's not marriage material she is just a little sad that she won't be able to play some more with him. Deep in her thoughts she's is rudely awakened by the sound of the doorbell buzzing. She lets out a deep exhale as she stands up knowing that this is probably her future husband and in-laws. Her mother Laura Douglas Addeleine runs to the door and with excitement opens it. As the door opens she stares over at three people standing in the doorway. Her mouth falls wide open from shock when she realizes that Xai is standing between his parents Mr and Mrs Andrews. His eyes lock onto hers and he smiles devilishly as if she could read his thoughts. Calley silently walks up to them silently and holds out her hand to shake their. Welcome to our home "Mr and Mrs Andrews, mo. if you would like you can go into the kitchen where my dad is" she politely smiles while saying these words to them. They nod and head into the kitchen leaving Xai and Calley alone standing with and open door. She still is locked into his baby blue eyes and she playfully smiles at him and pushes him against the door with her body causing them shut the door. She wraps her arms around him and whispers in his ear….."hello my hubby". Once she sees his shocked reaction she widens her smile and kisses him patiently causing him to let out a sentence that slipped from his lips "Holy Shit" and then he pulls away to catch a breath then kisses her back turning her against the wall ravishing her tongue with his tongue. "Little lamb how sweet you taste" he mutters....
"Calley earth to Calley her mother says to her loudly while knocking Calley from her vivid fantasy and Calley finds herself standing in silence staring at Xai and his parents. "Calley this is Mr and Mrs Andrews and their son Xai " she exclaims to Calley while letting them in. Calley is still shocked at seeing Xai Andrews her one night stand at the doorway as her future husband. Could she possibly marry a playboy? Would he make be able to make her happy? She doesn't share easily and would hate for him to continue with his playmates. She has all of these questions floating through her brain as she pushes away how her longing and her heart feels and shyly walks up to them and shakes hands with his parents the glance at Xai and holds her hand out in greeting. She uneasily smiles "It's nice to meet you Xai my name is Calley "she says quietly and sweetly while taking moments of looking into his eyes and then quickly away past his head and at the closed door. An sudden urge came over her to run out the door but she decided not to run and confront this head on. He shakes her hand and pulls Calley super close and whispers in her ear to where no one but her can hear. "Miss me?" Then he replies regularly in a respectful voice "it's nice to meet you Calley Addeleine" as if it's their first meeting.
Xai is amused with her sweet facade and he wonders to himself which is the real Calley the one that was bold, confident and flirtatious or this quiet, shy soft spoken woman standing before him. He smiled thinking to himself that it didn't matter because he likes them both. Then he slyly thought about the fact he could have her boldness at night and her shyness at day. As they were sitting at the kitchen there was a lot of small talk from his parents. Calley was quietly but sweetly responded to his parents questions. It has been two hours since they had already eaten and there was still no talk of marriage. Xai exhaled getting impatient and said with his emerald gaze still fixed intensely on Calley. "Let's go file tomorrow then in one year we can throw a wedding." She sighed and replies "there's no need for a huge wedding let's just have a small wedding." Then she adds "but first I haven't decided if I want to marry you." She pauses to see his reaction. He is still and doesn't make a sound. Calley sighs and politely touches his hands to get him to look in her eyes because the moment she told him she was unsure of the marriage he wouldn't make any eye contact with her. "I'm not saying I won't marry you but I have many rules and worries I want to settle with you before we move forward with arrangement." Calley informs him seriously. He nods and she notices that he seems really disappointed and wonders how could he be since he's a ladies man. She figured he wouldn't even want to get married. She knew he had been tormented by his father and would never agree to getting married. It was well known that he would turn down all proposals so why does he want to get married now? Xai noticed she seemed to be deep in thought and it looked as if she had already convinced herself that she wasn't marrying him. His behavior slowly turned cold. Why wouldn't she want to marry him. All the woman wanted him. He was wealthy, handsome and what the fuck is her problem he thought to himself. He no longer was amused with her but angry with her. He should be the one making the rules. She touched his hand again and he abruptly pulled away transforming himself into the ruthless business man. Ok so this is the way she chose. He was disappointed that it didn't oringally go as he had hoped it to go. So no flowers and ring he sighed to himself and with that he made a phone call to Kyler. She was intensely looking at him. "Kyler please bring in the marriage arrangement…. No just the arrangement" he said muffling his voice. "Go ahead and take the ring back. ". He added. Calley looked a little stunned and she seemed to grimace. "Let's make this quick sine neither of us want to be here." Xai was lying through his teeth he had anticipated seeing her today but now he was second guessing even if this marriage should proceed... he exhaled. "Let's talk business" he said. Just at that moment his mom was standing there shaking her head. He knew she was about to ask about where the ring and flowers were. He interrupted her not giving her a chance to speak. She turned around and left the room. Once again he looked at Calley he was too angry to notice her beauty.
