Ow..." she whispers softly as she rubs at the sore spot.
Tadashi laughs slightly. "Sorry," he says.
She frowns slightly at him. "Stop apologizing, idiot."
He laughs lightly again as he nods his head.
The two stand silently as they stare into each other's eyes in the dark, illuminated only by their own glow. They watch each other carefully, neither willing to blink or look away, afraid that the other will vanish if they do so. Finally, after a long moment passes between them, Ria breaks the silence. "Why can't I move?" She asks curiously.
He sighs heavily and shakes his head slightly. "This place is weird," he says, frowning slightly. He points to himself. "Me. I am strange. No offense. But you...you're normal." He pauses slightly as he gives her an apologetic glance before continuing. "But your parents aren't. At least, not entirely. They are different from us. Very different. I guess you could say that we are all different too. There are people whose powers differ from ours. Others who can do things we can't."
She frowns faintly as she closes her eyes briefly. So, so many questions remain unanswered. "Why did you come here?" She asks.
"To find someone,"he answers.
She opens her eyes and furrows her eyebrows in confusion as she stares at him. "Someone?"
He nods his head at her. "Someone who was meant to be with you. Someone you were destined to meet. Someone special. Someone special to you, I guess. Someone like...me." He trails off slightly before continuing on. "I guess I came here for the same reason as you."
She frowns slightly as she raises an eyebrow at him, tilting her head slightly. "Who is special to me?" She asks him.
He bites his lip slightly. "Well...do you remember what you said when you found me in that cage?" He asks. She nods her head, confused. "You told me you loved me...and that I had a special one to call mine."
She hums lightly in response. "Yeah..."
"Did you mean it?" He asks.
She purses her lips together slightly, staring into his green eyes. "Yeah," she mumbles.
He smiles at her. "Do you still mean it?" He asks her, worry evident in his voice.
She nods her head slightly. "Yes," she answers.
He smiles brightly at her. "Good. That means that you might not die yet!" He says happily, smiling. How did you get out though? If you know where those guards are," she asks.
He shrugs. "No idea. I don't really remember. I think they threw me into the basement and then I woke up here." He shrugs.
She frowns slightly. "Oh...okay." She frowns at him. "That's it?" She asks.
He nods his head lightly. "Yep, yeah. That's all I remember."
She nods her head slowly. "Okay. Well, I'm gonna check the door." She tells him. She walks away from him, starting to walk towards the door but she suddenly freezes, pausing in place. "Tadashi?" She calls out tentatively.
She feels like she shouldn't be calling his name right now but she has to. She's alone in here. And she can feel something else besides the lightness that's surrounding her and the soft humming around her. Something bad. Dangerous. It's a feeling. A feeling that fills her with fear. With fear and uncertainty. She can't describe the feeling. Can't comprehend any other words for what she felt. She didn't know what it was. All she knew is that it was bad. Really bad. And it was coming from the door that she had been trying so hard to push herself through.Tadashi," she whispers. "Tadashi." She shakes his shoulder gently and she sees his eyes open slightly.
He looks at her and he frowns slightly as he sits up. "Ria? What's wrong?" He asks her.
She doesn't answer him as she gets up from the floor. "Tadashi..." she murmurs, holding onto his shoulders as she shakes him, trying to wake him up, despite the fact that he's already awake. "Tadashi! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!"
He wakes up quickly, sitting up as he stares at her. His face immediately turns worried as he examines her. "Ria? What's wrong? What happened?" He asks.
She holds her hands to her head tightly, gripping her hair tightly. Tears threaten to fall out of her eyes as she lets out a loud scream, grabbing onto Tadashi tightly as she screams. "Please...please help me! Help me...help me! Please!" She yells.
Tadashi frowns. "Help you? Why would I help you, Ria? I want nothing more than to help you but I can't!" He shouts.
She grips his shoulders harder. "Please...Tadashi. Don't leave me! Don't leave me behind! Save me! Please! Please!
