Please! Save me!" She continues to scream.
"I won't! I promise, Ria! I won't! I'll protect you! I'll never leave you behind! I'll never abandon you! I love you too much! I couldn't even imagine not being able to see you anymore! Please...just please stop screaming! Stop screaming! I can't bear hearing you scream like this!" He shouts frantically as he wraps his arms around her, pulling her close against his chest.
Ria lets out another shrill scream and she buries her head into his chest as she continues to cry. Her whole body trembles violently as her entire body starts to heat up and sweat covers her skin. "Ria, Ria! It's okay! You're going to be fine! Everything's alright! Ria! Listen to me! You'll be just fine! Everything's going to be fine!" He repeats over and over in an attempt to calm her.
She stops screaming after a few moments. She tries to catch her breath as she pulls away from him, gasping for air as she stares into his eyes. He wipes away some tears that are slipping past her eyes before she notices them, wiping them away with his thumb as he stares at her intently. He smiles at her before leaning forward slightly and pressing his lips against hers.He cups the back of her neck as he gently moves his mouth against hers, kissing her deeply. She melts instantly at his touch as he kisses her hungrily. She wraps her arms around his neck as she responds to his kiss with just as much fervor.
Finally, he pulls away from her, resting his forehead against hers as he pants slightly. "Ria..." he mutters softly.
She smiles widely at him, nodding her head slightly. She leans forward, pressing her lips against his once more. The two pull apart from each other as they gaze at each other lovingly. "We made it, Ria," he says, a smile spreading across his face.
Ria nods her head slightly. "Yeah..." she replies. "We did..." She smiles happily at him.
Chapter 8
When I met him in the park,
My heart went crazy, my mind went wild,
And I knew I was gone for good.
I wanted him, no one else but him.
I know he was mine from the start.
But he wouldn't have me, not until I let him.
Then we met again in the park,
I knew I wasn't meant for anybody else.
It took a while, but eventually, we met again. And we talked about everything and nothing.
And then, he left.
Left me alone in the dark.
So, I followed him home.
Through the rain, through the snow and the cold.
All the way back to where we were meant to be.
Home, sweet home.
Where we belong.
The End
