After 7 Years stranded in the outer ring of the galaxy, John and Ave are developing their star power with Stella and Sidius's guidance. They learned that insignias need materials to cultivate their powers.
Lucky that almost 500 years Stella and Sidius collected enough materials from the asteroids, they manage to level up their power to 9.
"Outer ring is low with good materials, but luckily you guy can achieve level 9 with this situation"
"Right now, your level is 9, when you reach level 10 the star power will be transformed" Sidius explains to John in the middle of the forest.
"The Cosmic fiend are two types, there was: Normal and Superior. Normal Cosmic fiend only can have a maximum level 60 but the Superior can go to level 80".
"Cosmic fiend is fraud formed star sources, when cosmic power start devours other cosmic they become corrupted and transformed into Cosmic Fiend. When the cosmic is consume the right material, they become Star beasts. Right now, I have drawn some Cosmic fiend. Prepare yourself, this is the best training your power."
The ground is shaking because some asteroids are falling into the planet. From the asteroids appears two monsters had vicious looks start to destroy everything that nears them.
"Now it's your move. The monster level it's only level 5, but you must be careful not to break its core" Sidius order John to strike down the monster.
John stands with swords in his left belt and a phaser gun in his right belt.
"It's pity that I can only get one weapon synthesized with this star power"
"Your phaser gun will not work at this level to harvest the core; you need a sword to cut the body".
Then John moves forward and strikes the monsters, with a swift movement he was able to evade all the monster attacks. He shoots with his phaser gun to stun the monster cut the chest and grab the core.
After one monster is defeated, the others become scared and step back a few steps, but John keeps moving and attacks the monsters.
"SLASH – SLASH - SLASH" after a minute the situation calmed down, John was able to kill four beasts with level ease.
"That's goods. Now we can collect material from the monster body" Sidius congrats to John for his achievement.
Then John uses the explore ship to net all the monster bodies and fly back to the main ship.
Meanwhile, at the main ship, Ave is learning to make some star-glyph with Stella.
"Your star power is different from John had, by developing knowledge and consternation in this glyph you can use your power to support John". Stella explains while she stands beside Ave.
"This glyph can boost more star power" Ave is aware of the effect of the glyph that she makes.
"You can help John in another hunt, with this and defense glyph it will be enough for you level right now".
While Ave focused to stabilize the glyph power, John and Sidius came back to the main ship.
"Honey, we are home. Look what we got" John speaks with pride on his face.
"Wow, four-level 5 cosmic fiend. You are awesome"
"Daddy, you came home. How about the hunt? "Astrum suddenly appears.
"Hey kiddo, how are you today?" John was very happy to see Astrum.
Astrum saw something shiny from John's bag, he was curious and take it.
"Be careful boy, that it's a star core" Sidius wants to take the star core from Astrum.
But, suddenly a glowing light flew out from the core and leave an empty shell.
The light floating around Astrum's head.
Astrum accompanied by Lilo seems so happy playing with the light.
"This kid can play with the star source?" Sidius is mumbling while frowning.
Then Astrum runs outside with a light and found some animals. This animal was the specimen that Ave plants to the planet. Right now, all the specimens are evolved into grown animals.
Astrum seems to guide the light to enter the newly discovered animal, then the light enters the animal's body and the beast underwent a metamorphosis, its body appeared streaks of light.
"Star Beasts!! That kid can guide the star source to become a star beast?" Sidus was very surprised and looked at Stella.
"Stella, do you know that the boy can do that?" Sidius is still amazed while looking at Astrum.
Stella shakes her head curious about Astrum's action.
"Uncle Sidius, can Lilo have the monster body?" Astrum asked with, please.
Lilo's the name of the creature that is attached to Astrum when he is born. Right now, the creature is evolute to cat size with 8 legs and a puffy body.
"What's else it's used for. We bring the body just for you" Sidius knell down and taps Astrum head.
Then Astrum and Lilo run near the monster's body.
Lilo jumps to the monster's body and sucks the body like a leech. The dark color of the monster's body is sucked by Lilo. Lilo's body becomes bigger and then slowly digests the dark color.
After a while, Lilo burps with loud noise and gradually his body turns back to its size.
"I still amazed to see a creature can purify dark matter so easily" Stella amazed while looking at Lilo.
"The purified monster body can be used to make some equipment, pity that we don't have any forge skill." Sidius sighed.
Sidius suddenly realize, he and Stella had been gathering star cores for these 500 years and were carefully storing them. He plans to bring the star core back to the Inner Ring so that it can be guided back into a star beast because if it is released back into the outer ring it will be dangerous.
The outer ring does not have sufficient material, so if the star source is released here, the star source will eat each other and become a cosmic fiend again.
"Stella, that kid can guide the star source into a Star beast. We can release all the star beasts we have now."
"The number of adult beasts on this planet is not enough, we need to wait some time for the beasts to increase and grow" Stella replied with a mature mind.
Sidius nodded in agreement, then approached Astrum and handed over the remaining three-star sources from the previous hunt.
Astrum does the same thing, guiding the lights to blend in with the existing beasts and what's interesting is that the Star beasts seem to obey Astrum.
Stella: "John – Ave, you guys right now maybe realizing something with Astrum. When your boy was born there was strange Starlight baptism. This means that your boy inherits great starlight power. Right now, Astrum doesn't have any insignia. I guess that some powerful star is connected with him. You guys must help him find the Star."
John and Ave nod their heads sign of agreement.
After that everybody is busy with their chorus, they gathered in the dining room at the main ship.
"At this speed, we can get back to your system about 10 years" Stella started briefing the situation.
"We are grateful for your help, without you guys we never thought we can live"
"Don't mention it, with some accident we got this ULTRAS power it's a blessing"
"Yeah, you must know that without ULTRAS power we cannot move at this speed. Normally it will take 50 years to move counter with galaxy orbit to your system location."
This happens because the galaxy rotates with the core as its center. The outer ring doesn't go with the orbit because it's out of the system. The Galaxy rotates counterclockwise, so they move clockwise outside the orbit to speed up to back to John and Ave system.
"Let us explain the star power level and how to cultivate it" Sidius starts to explain.
There were 90 levels of star power split into three tiers.
The first tier is level 0 to 30, it is called low ranks. This level is the practice to use the star power and every time the level reaches 10 levels it will transform the star-bearer's body to become more stronger and agile.
Then the second tiers are levels 31 to 60 it's called middle ranks. At this level, the isginias will have the capability to refine the power and use glyph formation array.
Then the last tier is level 61 to 90 it's called high ranks. At this level, isginias are learning to comprehend the star power and use it efficiently and more powerfully.
To Level up the power, it needs to consume the right material, Low ranks can use level 1 to 3 material and Middle-rank needs level 4 to 6 material. While High ranks need level 7 to 9 material, they also need the knowledge to comprehend the power. This knowledge only can be got from experience and revelation.
"Right now, your maximum level it's only 60, but that's enough to handle the challenges in your system. The High ranks are only live at the Inner Ring of the galaxy"
"But you guys must realize that Astrum has a high Aptitude in star power, even without insignia he can able to use glyph and communicate with star source." Stella joins the conversation.
"Well, this is a new world for us, we never thought that this kind of power exist. It will be chaos if humans have this kind of power"
"It's the possibilities that Insginas become bad? Strike to use with the powers?" John concern
"The star has different means about good and bad, so the battle among Insignias is common. Afterall Insignias always aims to become stronger"
"You guys must use your powers to use for the greater good"
"Right now, it's good time to train Astrum. Even though he is just 5 years old, the aptitude is very high."
"You guys also need to work hard to level up and protect Astrum"
John and Ave just nod their head means approve of Stella's proposal.
"What are you guys doing after sending us back to the system? "Ave asked curiously.
"We will cultivate our powers back and return to the Inner Ring, we got unfinished business that needs to care of". Sidius reply with some anger hidden in his face.
"By the way, Astrum is ready to learn about the starlight power, we will begin our training right now"
