"Take it easy Sun"Hazel chided her, helping her climb the stairs to their apartment. It's only been a day since she stayed at the hospital and here they are going home already.
She had received a call from the hospital early in the morning when she stepped out to get a few things that she was going to use at the hospital for some days only to hear that she had been discharged.
She rushed to the hospital and saw her already seated down in the chair, pretending she was okay and ready to go when she had not recovered fully.
You see,Sunny can be a handful sometimes.
Hazel regret telling her about her engagement party tomorrow because she knew she was doing all these just to be there tomorrow to see her engagement with her dumbass Zaiden.
Sadly, she hasn't heard from him since their last outing, she wanted to text or call him but she figured out doing so would make her look desperate before his eyes.
A normal human being might consider that she was worried and missing him,but Zaiden was anything but normal,he would tag her a stalker who can't seem to keep him off her mind.
"Are you thirsty? ''she referred to Sunny who was seated down in the sitting room on one of the fluffy couches watching her every movement.
Weird!
Hazel suspected but she concluded that it was probably the hospital and the drugs that were affecting her.
She handed the can of water to her while went in to drop a few belongings. She came back to find her already making herself busy with the television, watching her favourite show.
"I'm sorry Hazel"Sunny interrupted her thought, surprising her, what was she sorry about."i know I may sound crazy, but i didn't wanted to stay in that horrible place for any seconds talk more of three days"
Oh!she was talking about the hospital.
"It's okay,I myself detest those horrible medicines"Hazel said winking at her while they both gigled and just then the door bell sounded.
"Who's it?"Sunny asked looking at Haxel who shrugged her shoulders before walking over to check who was over.
"Good Morning miss,I have been ordered to bring you over to the house by Madam ''The head of staff said with a smile on his face facing the young lady whose face was showing that she was not expecting him.
Hazel finally understood what he meant, they were properly trying to groom her up for her day.
Her day.
It might sound like a dream but what she had been expecting was finally happening, just some months ago she had barely three months to live, three months to do whatever she wanted.
Given a year opportunity to live the way she wanted before she died, she was finally getting engaged.
"Miss.."the chief of staff called her out of her thoughts.
"Oh,sorry I will be right back"Hazel said smiling assuredly at him before finding Sunny staring at her with smiles on her face.
"You can go, I can take care of myself"Sunny told her,she eavesdropped on their conversation,so sunnylife.
She stood up wincing a bit from the pain that Hazel rushed to her immediately.
"Are you sure you will be alright?"She asked corcerned having two minds about leaving her alone for today.
Sunny nodded her head, pinched her cheeks and said"Happy engagement sis,so sorry that I wouldn't make it"She apologized before hugging her.
"I love you Sun"
"Don't let Zaiden hear that coming from your mouth,I heard he's quite possessive"Sunny teased, making them laugh hard at her joke.
"Whatever"Hazel rolled her eyes not caring about him one bit,she took her bag giving Sunny one last look before leaving the house with the head of staff.

"My baby!"Avery cried joyfully when Hazel stepped into the sitting room ,she walked over and engulfed the young lady in a bone crushing hug.
"I.. can't..breathe"Hazel managed to breathe out to her before she noticed she was crushing her soon to be daughter in-law.
"So sorry sweetheart,I was just so excited to see you,I just can't wait for tomorrow evening Hazel"The lady said dramatically which amused Hazel.
She seems so excited about this wedding than the bride and groom itself.
"Oh my bad, come have a sit"Avery said, holding her hand while she dragged her to sit down, calling in a maid to serve refreshments to her.
Hazel declined when she brought up the topic of cooking for her,Avery was such a drama queen, she couldn't wait for Sunny to meet her. She was so gonna love this woman.
"Chill child, you need the strength because you will be extremely busy in the next few minutes"Avery declared while she looked at her with a confused face not quite getting what she meant.
Avery clapped her hands and two ladies dressed formally came into the room, one was a little bit taller than the other.
"They are your coaches for now princess"
"Ma'am…"
"It's mother to you Hazel ''Avery chided her before standing up to face the two ladies in front of them.
"They will teach and guide you on how to be ladylike as an elite, starting from how you talk, walk, your dressing pattern.."Avery paused when she saw the grimace look on her face, noticing that she may have sounded a little bit unruly to the child.
"I'm sorry if I make you feel bad,I just wanted the best for my daughter"She explained to her trying to assure her she was not trying to look down on her because she wasn't from any worthy social background.
Hazel gave her a smile when she understood that she wasn't trying to hurt her,she understood that quite clearly, there would always be a difference between a lady born into a prestigious family and that of a commoner.
Avery was just trying to make her a perfect daughter for her but not trying to hurt her,she already loved her mother-in-law already,if only her son would be as considerate and warm like his mother.
She knows she doesn't deserve this treatment, but Avery wasn't one to say no,she went on to tell her about visiting and doing manicure and pedicure together with her later in the day.
Avery was spoiling her already, she feels like a princess just from staying a day with her, what more does she have to see once she starts living with them.
Hazel noticed it was only the two of them in the house because it wasn't that noisy or filled up like the last time when she came, she missed the old man already.
"I will see you by three"Avery told her, touching her face, then stood up to look at Melody and Jane, who were her coach,"Don't be harsh on her!"She warmed with a Stern look which Hazel heard and smiled, before leaving them.
The two ladies introduced themselves before they started with their lessons on how to make her the perfect princess of the Knights family.
The one and only favourite daughter of grandpa.
