Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

"Ar'es and Hepha will arrive soon" Freya moaned , out of breath, "finish quickly" as she moaned. Ka'han replied "oh, no, this is for you. First you, then I'll take care of me". Ka'han was cleaning his horse in stables when Freya greeted him with an exciting mouth around his rod. One thing lead to another and now Freya leaning on the fence while Ka'han takes her from the behind. "Maybe next time, I'll feel a little pity on you, Hepha, and let you win" the sound of the man laughing was getting nearer and as was Freya so Ka'han increased his tempo and she shouted as she came. The sound of laughing man was cut short after Freya's scream, and the 2 men came running towards the sound to catch a girl reaching towards her gown to cover herself and her lover's privates. The dark-skinned man "Oh, I thought…uh…never mind" and turned around to leave when the other man said "Sister! What a wonderful surprise. I was wondering you could get out of the stable of which you staining the floor with something that is supposed to stay in. Might I suggest a lie down with a pillow under your pelvis?" "One of these days, Hepha, one of these days. I'm going to make someone shove yours down your throat, perhaps you'll like it" the ever so sweet Freya warned. Both Ar'es and Ka'han contained their laugh, careful not to interrupt a sibling's quarrel.

"He's dangerous. There's nothing that can keep him down. Not Vervain, not wolfsbane. He's something else, the only thing keeping him down is an engine and a barrier spell, and we need to find out that he really is…" a girl's voice, so soft, she sounded like she was 15 or 16. "He's awake, '' the girl next to her whispered. Ka'han opened his eyes wider and saw they were girls, maybe 18 or 20, pretty, nevertheless. "Whoever you are, you better let me go, before my companions find you" he warned. One girl, who seemed more mature than the rest of them, said "Oh, really? We aren't letting you go until you tell us what you are.". "Would you believe me if I say I'm a vampire? "Ka'han asked. "Do you think we are fools? You walked in the daylight without a ring, you got stabbed in the heart with wood and you didn't die. So tell us the truth." The girl said. Ka'han just realized that all of them were girls and all of them were wearing tasteless clothes, some of them dressed like men. "Amazonians' ' Ka'han whispered, though the girl heard it, "what? How do you know who we are? Who are you? What are you?!" she shouted. "Enough, Sheb." A young girl behind Ka'han, whose presence he didn't sense. Who is this girl? "My name is Ria'nol. I am a captain amongst the ranks of Amazon. Please, what is your name? Our people are afraid of which we do not understand. That fear often changes to hate. So who are you?'' There was something about this girl that was so familiar. Who is she? She wore a huntress's clothing, an Amazonian Armor. Ka'han felt he can trust her so he told her "My name is Ka'han."

The rest of the girls were confused. They thought The Myth of Ka'han to be an old man. Bitches, whores, the lot of them. "You don't believe him, do you?" Sheb asked her captain. "He could be lying, just to escape." Ria'nol thought hard looking at him and studying him. "I thought Ka'han was a Legend. A myth. There was no way the servants of nature would let something truly Immortal to walk the earth." She told him with great interest. "Well, it's a good thing that I was created before Nature even found its Servants, isn't?" She eyed him and realized he's speaking the truth, "That was 3000 yrs ago." Sheb said before Ria'nol could say anything "Do you expect us to believe that you lived for that long? Do you take us to be idiots?". "Okay, and then cut off my arm, cut off my head. Watch it grow back" Ka'han got fed up of this, the only way out was if he could take this engine off his shoulder. "Okay, in what year were you born?" Ka'han chuckled as he looked at her face, "oh, you're serious?" she nodded. Ka'han went deep into thought, "well, I can't remember the precise date but I think it was 70 i chroniá ítan" he smiled as he said and saw the color of each face of the Amazonians drain. "I believe it's 8230 BC in present times" Ka'han added. "Then you must've known my ancestor." Ka'han interrupted Ria'nol and said "Ze'us, right? I see a lot of him in you". It's a miracle after millennials a descendent could resemblance the king himself… something is coming… "I'm sorry, our people has been on the edge since…" Ria'nol's face went down as she said that, she remembering something she wanted to forget "We weren't always like this. We don't usually kidnap people and question them…" "Oh, yes, that reminds me, how did you kidnap me? It's fairly impossible to sneak up on me…" or so I thought… "The drinks you had on your plane were laced with the venom of Alaksair. A tasteless, odourless poison… we were hoping it'll kill you, but instead only made you pass out…" Ria'nol said despite Sheb's disagreeing expression on her face, "The Amazonians have used this for centuries, to kill our enemies, even immortals, except you, of course" A poison that can kill Vampires… it's not unheard of, but extremely impossible… "We can't trust him. As far as we know, he could have killed them. We can't trust him." Sheb said with distaste. "Only way to find out is by asking him" Ria'nol said with great interest and childish expression… "Have you heard of Lord Euphene?" Ka'han was surprised to hear that name from a non-vampire "The lord of Malmorta? I might've staked him a few times…" it seems even burning his house down won't stop a man like that "Why? Did his stupidity get in a war with Amazonians?" Ka'han said with great humour.

"He sent men to kill my sister" the quiet girl in the corner of the room whispered… her eyes looked swollen, she's been crying for days, "And evidently, they were successful… I'm sorry for your loss" Ka'han said with true despair, he turned to Sheb and asked "was she your lover?" Everyone in the room except for the quiet, turned towards Sheb, whose face was shocked and the color drained "how…?" Sheb stopped halfway as if she changed her mind, "we'll speak of this later" Ria'nol said in an angered tone "we have other pressing matters, as to why she was killed" she looked at Ka'han for answers. "Oh, trust me. I have no idea. He's after a friend of mine, as well. Euphene isn't one to give up so easily… He's targeting random people… from every faction…" "Wait, what do you mean factions?' Sheb asked as if she didn't know what the factions were. Hilarious Ka'han thought, then he saw her puzzled face and around the room, "you can't be serious. How is it you don't know what factions are? Humph, this is what happens when you people get out of civilization for centuries. The groups of the supernatural are called the factions, like werewolves, vampires, witches and so on… Amazonians is a faction. I began the factions 5 centuries ago, you know, to keep diversities and avoid war." Something that didn't go as plan. "last week, a group of witches went missing. A week before that an entire pack of wolves went missing in France. I went to Sri Lanka to investigate a missing demon girl… a 14 year old… I found her nailed to a tree in the woods… this isn't just random… it's a…" "A Sacrifice…" Ria'nol added before Ka'han finished. The dread on her and the rest after their realization was unnerving, even for Ka'han. "And I have a feeling that my friend won't be safe for long…" Ka'han said with great thought "Take Kalen and leave for Athens, tonight." he said to the dark. The Amazonians were confused; they looked at him like he has gone mad until a voice in the dark replied, "what about you, my liege?" Reve'rez's smooth voice shocked the Amazonians into a battle formation to protect the quiet girl…she must be royalty… "I'll catch up soon; I have an intimate friend in the Themyscira who I have to meet to talk business." And he got up; the floor broke as the engine that was previously on his shoulder slipped off and fell. "Go now, no detours. Leave now." "Yes, my liege." Reve'rez said before disappearing into the dark. "So you could have got up at any moment and killed all of us and then just leave… but you didn't, why?" Sheb asked with a frightened face. "For one, you are not my enemy, and I have no desire to make an enemy. Besides, I love the company of women" Ka'han replied with a lusty look at Sheb and her comrades "We also need to leave, I have a feeling Liana won't stay put for long if her daughter doesn't return home." Despite the shocked faces and the quiet girl's laughter, Ka'han walked past them, and left out the room to meet the night sky and the bright moon.
