Victor and two other mages appeared just outside a dark alley in one of the nightmare neighborhoods in Manhattan called District five. They were here after receiving reports that civilians were disappearing under mysterious conditions. And So far, seven people had vanished in this very neighborhood and they couldn't give a blind eye because everyone that had vanished was a magic user and the Magisterium handled magic-related problems.
They were in black suits— which were their daytime disguise whereas, at night, they wore black trench coats to blend in to keep their presence hidden from normal humans and magical creatures with strong presence sensibility.
