"Are you sure about this?" Jack asked her as she prepared to break the connection with the spell. It was an extremely painful and risky procedure because of the spell's effectiveness. And not to forget the fact that her spell was the only thing weakening the mind's defense, breaking the connection would mean total terror for them because of the mind's ability to learn and adapt to them.
"Do it…" she then picked up a branch and started biting on it to prevent screaming during the disconnection.
Jack stared at her and began the disconnection. This meant that he had to get into her mind and break down the very lane that merged her with the spell, the only downside of all this was that since Alex didn't have her telepathic abilities it meant that she was going to go through the worst pain for any human; the pain of ripping something from a person's soul.
