Alex shrugged. " I guess so. We haven't found any yet, just monsters flying around. Merci said something about fighting a goddess with the help of an Elf she had found on the street."
"Desmond! You're talking about Desmond, he's been with me. I told him to go find you guys and maybe get some help…."
They were suddenly interrupted by a storm demon that flew out of the vortex and shot lightning at the two of them from its mouth. They easily dodged it by flying in opposite directions and letting the lightning pass in between them. Alex summoned her bow and a quiver of arrows magically appeared strapped to her back.
She pulled out one arrow and prepared to shoot. But before she could shoot, she chanted out elven tongue and released her hand from the bowstring as the arrow flew straight into the storm demon's eye.
"Arrrgggghhhhrrr!!!"
