The present-day Magisterium wasn't hidden underground or in the mountains like a villain's lair or a top-secret society. It was a normal building in New York that couldn't be seen by normal humans. It could only be seen by powerful magic users who had a strong and stable connection with the lanes and those were few in this world.
They followed Victor into the lobby. The place looked normal outside, but on the inside, it was ten times bigger and wider.
Kendall gasped with amusement as she looked around. She couldn't believe a place like this was just there in the middle of New York, hidden from people's eyes. This place wasn't existing in another dimension, it was here…and coexisting with the human world.
"Wow…" she muttered, looking up. The place was so well lit by floating orbs of light that acted like lanterns that were spread across the entire place giving more than enough light.
